What Is Ekart?
Ekart Logistics is Flipkart's in-house delivery arm, launched in 2009 to give Flipkart direct control over its supply chain. Today, Ekart handles the majority of Flipkart's own-platform orders and also provides logistics services to third-party sellers and brands outside the Flipkart ecosystem.
When you order on Flipkart and the delivery is handled by Flipkart itself (not a third-party seller using their own courier), your shipment is almost certainly with Ekart.
Finding Your Ekart Tracking Number
Your Ekart tracking number appears in two places:
Flipkart Order Page: Log in to Flipkart → My Orders → Select the order → "Track Package." The tracking ID is shown here.
Dispatch Email / SMS: Flipkart sends a dispatch notification with a tracking number when your order ships.
Ekart tracking numbers typically follow the format FMPP or EBAY followed by digits, or an alphanumeric string 12–16 characters long.
Tracking via TrackParcel
Enter your Ekart tracking number at trackparcel.in — the system auto-identifies Ekart shipments and fetches the live status directly.
Ekart Status Messages Explained
"Shipment Created" — Flipkart has raised a shipment request. The physical package hasn't been picked up yet.
"Picked Up" — Ekart has collected the package from the seller's warehouse.
"In Transit" — The package is moving between Ekart's fulfilment centres or sorting hubs.
"Out for Delivery" — Your package is on a delivery agent's vehicle for today's delivery.
"Delivery Attempted" — The agent came but couldn't deliver. You'll usually get an SMS or app notification with a reason.
"Delivered" — Package delivered. If you didn't receive it, check with neighbours and building security before contacting support.
Delivery Timelines
Ekart's delivery speed depends on whether your order is fulfilled from a Flipkart warehouse or a seller warehouse:
- Flipkart Assured (own warehouse): 1–3 business days to most metros and tier-1 cities
- Marketplace seller: 3–7 business days depending on seller location
Resolving Ekart Delivery Issues
Failed delivery: Ekart typically makes 2–3 delivery attempts. After each failed attempt, you receive a notification. You can reschedule via the Flipkart app.
Stuck in transit: If your order shows no update for 3+ business days, use Flipkart's "Help" section on the order page to raise an issue. Flipkart's support team directly coordinates with Ekart's operations.
Delivered but not received: Raise a complaint via Flipkart's support immediately. Ekart uses GPS-tagged delivery confirmation, so disputes can usually be resolved within 3–5 days by reviewing the delivery agent's location data.
Ekart does not have a public customer care number — all Ekart-related issues are handled through Flipkart's own support channels.
