These are published plan defaults; your issued key carries its configured allowance and rate limit. A capped key stops admitting lookups when its monthly allowance is exhausted. The reset follows the key creation-date anniversary, not the first day of the calendar month. Contact us before reaching the limit if you need a larger allowance.
All plans have access to the same registered tracking services, but an integration listing is not a guarantee of availability for every lookup. Some services require interactive verification and may not support unattended API use.

At 10 lookups per parcel, the allowance covers 1,500 parcels. This is an example, not a measured polling requirement or a promise of tracking through delivery.
This is a subscription allowance, not automatic pay-as-you-go billing. Unused calls increase the effective cost per lookup; fewer polls do not reduce the monthly subscription price. Carrier errors after quota admission and cached responses can still consume calls.
When comparing other APIs, distinguish per-call, per-shipment, and per-credit billing. Check included features, polling rules, taxes, exchange rates, and current terms. We do not publish unverified competitor prices or a cheapest-provider claim.
Included access and integration checks
One tracking endpoint
Use GET /api/v1/track with an issued x-api-key, tracking number, and carrier. Keep the key on your server, not in browser code.
Shared carrier access
Plan tiers change allowances and request rates, not the registered carrier list. Responses depend on the carrier, and cached results are not fresh scans.
Usage visibility
Admitted lookup responses expose quota limit, usage, and seconds until reset. Handle rate-limit and monthly-quota errors separately; quota headers are not present on every error.
Send your expected monthly calls, peak request rate, and required carriers when requesting access. Confirm the terms of the issued key, payment arrangements, and applicable taxes. Access is arranged through contact, not instant self-service checkout.

Is it billed in rupees?
Published paid plans are priced in INR. Confirm payment arrangements, any applicable taxes, and negotiated Enterprise terms when requesting access.
What happens if I exceed my monthly calls?
For a capped key, the API returns QUOTA_EXCEEDED with HTTP 429 after its allowance is used. Calls do not automatically continue at an overage price. Wait for the key's monthly creation-date anniversary reset or contact us to arrange a larger allowance. Rejected over-quota requests do not consume additional quota.
How are rate limits and quota headers handled?
Per-minute rate limits are separate from monthly quotas and can return RATE_LIMITED with HTTP 429. Responses after an admitted tracking lookup include X-Quota-Limit, X-Quota-Used, and X-Quota-Reset. Quota-exceeded responses include the limit, usage, and Retry-After; early validation or authentication errors do not necessarily include quota headers.
Which calls consume the monthly allowance?
Validated lookups admitted by the quota check consume a call, including cached results and lookups that later fail at the carrier. Malformed requests and requests rejected for quota exhaustion do not. Interactive CAPTCHA_REQUIRED responses for Aadhaar PVC are returned without consuming quota. If quota verification is unavailable, the API returns QUOTA_UNAVAILABLE with HTTP 503 rather than admitting the request.
Is the consumer tracker still free?
Yes. Free, no-account access applies to the consumer web tracker, subject to rate limits and carrier availability. The optional API is a separate authenticated product with paid plans. Tracking results are cached and operational logs are stored; API request usage is also recorded.
