Tracking Status Meanings

Decode confusing courier terminology and know exactly where your parcel is.

Common Tracking Terms

Manifested / Shipment Created

The sender has generated a shipping label and booked the parcel in the courier's system, but the physical package has not yet been handed over to the courier.

Picked Up / Collected

The courier has physically collected the parcel from the sender's location or warehouse. The journey has officially begun.

In Transit

The parcel is moving through the courier's network. This usually means it is traveling between sorting hubs or distribution centres. It does not mean it is on its way to your specific address yet.

Arrived at Hub / Reached Destination Hub

The parcel has reached the main sorting facility in your city or region. It will soon be dispatched to the final delivery centre.

Out for Delivery

A delivery agent has the parcel on their vehicle and it is scheduled to be delivered to your address today. Ensure you are available to receive it.

Delivered

The parcel has been successfully handed over to the recipient, left at a designated safe place, or signed for by someone at the address.

Delivery Attempted / Failed Attempt

The delivery agent visited your address but could not deliver the parcel. Common reasons include: no one was available, the premises were closed, or the address was incomplete.

Exception / Delay

An unexpected event has delayed the parcel. This could be due to bad weather, a vehicle breakdown, a missed connection, or a misrouted package.

RTO (Return to Origin)

The parcel could not be delivered after multiple attempts, was refused by the recipient, or had an unresolvable address issue. It is now being returned to the sender.

Customs Clearance / Held at Customs

For international shipments, the parcel is undergoing inspection by customs authorities. It may be delayed until duties are paid or documentation is provided.
