Which carriers does TrackParcel support?

India Post, Bluedart, DTDC, Xpressbees, Tirupati Courier, Ekart/Flipkart, and Shadowfax are currently live. India Post covers every pin code in India with Speed Post, Registered Post, and Express Parcel Post. Bluedart is a premium express courier known for 1–2 day metro delivery. DTDC has 12,000+ service centres nationwide. Xpressbees is a tech-first courier popular with D2C brands. Tirupati Courier handles regional routes. Ekart is Flipkart's in-house logistics arm — use your FMPP tracking number. Shadowfax is India's leading on-demand gig-economy courier used by Flipkart, Meesho, and Myntra — tracking numbers start with SF. Coming soon: Delhivery (India's largest private logistics provider), DHL (international express), and Ecom Express (e-commerce focused). All carrier pages at trackparcel.in/carriers show live status. If a carrier you use is missing, email tejas.telkar@trackparcel.in and we'll prioritise it.

Is TrackParcel free?

Yes, completely free — and that won't change. TrackParcel is monetised through non-intrusive display ads, similar to how most free utilities on the internet work. You never pay a rupee, there's no premium tier, and no features are locked behind a subscription. There is no sign-up, no trial period, and no hidden charges. The tracking service is funded by ad revenue, which keeps it accessible to everyone — whether you're an individual tracking a single order or a small business tracking hundreds of shipments per month. We believe parcel tracking is a utility, not a luxury, and utilities should be free. The ads displayed are standard display ads (like Google AdSense) that appear around the results — never interstitials, never pop-ups, never anything that blocks or slows down the tracking result itself.

Do I need to create an account?

No account is ever needed on TrackParcel. Just paste your tracking number into the search bar and press Track — that's it. There's no sign-up form, no email verification, no OTP, no password to create or remember. This is a deliberate design choice: requiring an account to check a parcel's location is unnecessary friction. Your tracking number already identifies your shipment — we don't need to know who you are. TrackParcel also doesn't store your tracking numbers or build a history of your searches. Each query is processed in real-time and nothing is saved on our end. If you close the tab, the search is gone. This means there's nothing to log in to, nothing to reset if you forget a password, and no marketing emails ever arriving in your inbox.

How fast are the tracking results?

Most results appear in under 2 seconds. TrackParcel fetches tracking data directly from each carrier's systems in real-time — there is no pre-cached database of shipment statuses. When you submit a tracking number, a request goes to the carrier's tracking endpoint immediately, the response is parsed, and the result is returned to you. The exact speed depends on the carrier: India Post typically responds in 1.5–2 seconds, Bluedart and DTDC usually respond in under 1 second, and Xpressbees is similarly fast. Because results are live-fetched, you always see the most current status — never a stale update from hours ago. On rare occasions a carrier's servers may be slow or temporarily unavailable, which can extend the response time. If a carrier is completely unreachable, TrackParcel shows an error rather than a stale result.

How do I know which carrier shipped my parcel?

Check your order confirmation email or the seller's order details page — the carrier name and tracking number are almost always listed there. For Flipkart orders, the carrier is usually Ekart (look for an FMPP tracking number). Meesho typically uses Shadowfax (tracking numbers start with SF). Amazon uses multiple carriers but usually shows the name alongside the tracking number. India Post tracking numbers follow the format EE123456789IN. If you're still unsure, try the carrier most commonly used by the platform you ordered from. Selecting the wrong carrier will simply return no result — you can then try another one.

Will TrackParcel always be free?

Yes. TrackParcel will always be free to use. The site is monetised via non-intrusive display ads from Google AdSense, which generate enough revenue to cover server costs and keep the service running without charging users. This model was chosen intentionally: it aligns incentives with providing a fast, useful service rather than locking features behind paywalls or selling user data. There are no plans to introduce a paid tier, a premium subscription, or any form of paywall. Free carriers like India Post serve hundreds of millions of people across India — many of whom shouldn't have to pay to track a government postal service. Our commitment is to keep the tracker free, ad-light, and fast indefinitely. If that ever changes, we'll announce it clearly and well in advance. But the plan is for it to never change.

How do I report a bug or suggest a carrier?

Email tejas.telkar@trackparcel.in — every message is read personally by the developer who built TrackParcel. Bug reports and carrier suggestions are the most valuable feedback the project receives. When reporting a bug, include your tracking number (or a sample format), the carrier you were tracking, and what happened — for example, "India Post shows error" or "wrong carrier detected for this format." The more detail you provide, the faster it can be fixed. Carrier suggestions are prioritised based on request volume and how widely used the carrier is. Delhivery, DHL, and Ecom Express are on the roadmap because users asked for them. Ekart/Flipkart tracking is now live. There's no ticket system or help desk — just a real email address with a real person behind it. Responses typically arrive within 24 hours.
