Courier waybills follow conventions — prefixes like FMPP (Ekart) or VLR (Valmo), postal S10 numbers ending in the country code, letter-plus-digit shapes for DTDC, and digit lengths that narrow it down further.

Candidates come ranked

Unique formats get one confident answer. Shared shapes — plain 10-digit numbers, say — return ranked candidates, tracked with the best guess first.

How does auto-detect know which courier my tracking number belongs to?

Every courier uses recognizable tracking-number formats. Ekart numbers start with FMPP, Valmo with VLR, Trackon with DEL, India Post follows the international postal format ending in IN, DTDC starts with a letter followed by 8 digits, and so on. We match your number against all of these formats and rank the most likely couriers.

What if multiple couriers use the same tracking number format?

Plain digit-only waybills are used by several carriers. In that case we show ranked candidates — for example a 10-digit number is most often Bluedart, but could be Xpressbees or Tirupati. We track with the best guess first; if the parcel isn't found there, we automatically try the next candidate.
