About Ecom Express
Ecom Express was founded in 2012 as a logistics company built from the ground up for e-commerce. Unlike traditional courier companies that adapted their networks for online retail, Ecom Express designed its processes around e-commerce from day one — focusing on high first-attempt delivery rates, flexible delivery windows, and return handling.
The company operates across 2,700+ cities and towns in India, with a network of over 3,000 delivery centres. It serves major e-commerce players and direct brands, and is known for strong performance in states where traditional couriers have patchy coverage.
Finding Your Tracking Number
Your Ecom Express tracking number is shared by the seller in your dispatch notification. It typically follows the format: ECOM followed by 13 digits, or a purely numeric 13-digit AWB number.
How to Track
Via TrackParcel: Select Ecom Express from the carrier dropdown at trackparcel.in, enter your AWB, and get live tracking.
Via Ecom Express: Use the tracking tool at ecomexpress.in/tracking.
Status Messages Explained
"Consignment Booked" — The seller has booked the shipment. Pickup is scheduled.
"Picked Up" — Ecom Express has collected the package from the seller.
"In Transit" — The package is moving between processing centres.
"Reached Delivery Hub" — The package is at the facility closest to your delivery address.
"Out for Delivery" — With the delivery associate for today's attempt.
"Delivery Failed" — The attempt was unsuccessful. Common reasons: gate access denied, address mismatch, customer unavailable.
"Undelivered Return" — After multiple failed attempts, return to sender has been initiated.
Ecom Express Delivery Performance
Ecom Express is consistently rated highly for first-attempt delivery success rates, particularly in tier-2 and tier-3 markets where other couriers struggle. The company invests heavily in training local delivery associates and uses a hub-and-spoke model with smaller micro-hubs to reach dense residential areas efficiently.
