Track a Zampost item with the 13-character shipment ID on your receipt. Zampost gives EE to EMS, CP to parcels and RR to registered mail, and its tracker files each day's scans under a written-out date. No login required.

Tracking Number Format
Pattern: Two letters, nine digits and two letters, such as a CP parcel code ending in ZM
Format example

Illustrative format, not a live shipment.
It is printed on the receipt you get when you send the item, and Zampost's tracking page says it is 13 characters long. That page splits its sample into a two-letter service type, a nine-digit identifier and a two-letter country code. The service types are EE for EMS, CP for parcels and RR for registered mail.
The tracker holds nothing under that code, and TrackParcel marks it not found. The help page suggests two causes: a code in the wrong 13-character format, or a package not yet entered in its system. When the format is right and the code still fails, the help page's advice is to contact customer care.
It records the post receiving the item from the customer, at the office named beside it. Zampost's one genuine history held by TrackParcel consists of this line alone, under its day heading, naming the receiving office and giving the hour and minute. Until a later scan arrives, that wording stays as the item's status.
Zampost's page prints a bare 24-hour clock under each day heading, without any zone. TrackParcel takes that clock to be Lusaka time (Africa/Lusaka), adds the three and a half hours to India Standard Time and marks the result IST. So a 22:50 scan in Zambia appears as 02:20 am IST, dated the next day.
The sender, by SMS or email, according to the Delivery Notification step on Zampost's tracking page. TrackParcel has no Zampost delivery wording on record yet, only first-mile scans, so it marks an item Delivered just when the latest description itself reports a delivery.
The Zampost website gives the post's full name, Zambia Postal Services Corporation, and its tracking page names EMS, parcels and registered mail as the services it covers. This page follows those items through the Track Shipment page on postglobalonline.com, a PostGlobal VPO system that answers for the post and is the tracker TrackParcel reads. Western Union and MoneyGram money transfers, which the help page also covers, are outside it.
The post's tracking page says the 13-character shipment ID is printed on your receipt and asks you to keep it safe. It names three track codes: EE for EMS (Express Mail Service), CP for Parcel Service and RR for Registered Mail.
Typed or pasted codes lose their spaces, hyphens, dots and any AWB: label in TrackParcel's search box. What is left goes to Zampost only if it is an S10-style code (a letter pair, nine digits and a second letter pair); other input is rejected before Zampost is asked. The S10 check digit is not tested, because the item this integration was built on failed it. Codes ending in ZM bring up Zampost in Auto-Detect; with a different ending, select it yourself.
TrackParcel reads the Track Shipment page on postglobalonline.com that answers for this post, loading its form and then submitting the number; the page is served over plain HTTP only. The reply names the item under an Item Code heading and then lists Item Events.
A reply whose Item Code heading or Shipment ID row names a different item is treated as an error, not shown. Of the Item Details rows only Shipment ID is read; Origin, Sender, Destination, Addressee, Item Type and the weight never are.
The help page puts a failing number down to a wrong format or an item not yet in the system. The post's tracking page gives the shipment ID as 13 characters, and the Track Shipment form that answers for the post takes no more than that.
Read the 13 characters off your receipt again first. If they agree, confirm with the sender that the package was handed in, then contact customer care.
The post's EMS page calls EMS a priority mail service connecting more than 150 branches countrywide and over 190 countries and territories, and lists customs clearance among its services. Its tracking page describes registered mail as a secure service with signature confirmation and detailed tracking for important documents.
The help page lists four ways to file a complaint: its contact form, email, the customer care phone line or a visit to any post office. It gives most post offices' hours as Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM and Saturday 8AM-1PM, varying by location. Keep the receipt and its 13-character shipment ID beside you while you call or write.

Zampost's own status wording, what it means, and the badge TrackParcel's result shows for it.
Just one Zampost status appears here. The single real reply TrackParcel holds for Zampost contains only this first-mile event, and Zampost's own pages publish no list of the tracker's wording.
The tracking page lists only three trackable services: EMS (EE), Parcel Service (CP) and Registered Mail (RR). Its help page contrasts letter post, the standard mail service, with EMS, which it describes as tracked. For a letter, Registered Mail is the service that carries an RR code and detailed tracking.
Its help page lists standard letters up to 20g, large letters up to 500g and small parcels up to 2kg. For EMS sent abroad, the same page sets the limit at 30kg per parcel.
