Transnet Express says it was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Bangalore. Its site centres on automotive logistics and an Importer of Record service for consignments entering India. The tracker TrackParcel follows sits behind the Track Your Shipment page at transbulk.transnet.in, and covers what that page answers for a tracking number or customer reference of 6 to 30 letters and digits. TrackParcel has never seen a real Transnet shipment there, so how a live result looks rests on that page's own code.

Transnet's input field is labelled for a Tracking No. or Customer Reference, and the company sets no format for either. Its own page sends whatever is typed, trimmed only of spaces at the ends.

TrackParcel's search box removes a pasted label, spaces, dots, slashes and most dashes, and capitalises letters. Transnet is asked only when 6 to 30 letters and digits remain; shorter input, or 31 to 50 letters and digits, is reported as not found without a lookup. Auto-Detect never offers Transnet Express, and a 12-digit number is offered to other couriers instead, so choose Transnet Express yourself.

TrackParcel queries the tracker behind Transnet's Track Your Shipment page and reads the same fields that page reads. A TransBulk item is a dated and timed scan with its location and status; a Translive item gives a status, a Currently at place and either a Delivered on or an As of date.

Items arrive oldest first; TrackParcel flips that order and sorts by date and time, reading no other field an item may hold. Numeric TransBulk dates are read month-first, as the page's own date handling reads them, and Translive dates day-first, the Indian style; each switches only when its first reading is impossible.

For a number or reference it holds nothing under, Transnet's tracker sends back no items, and the page then reports no shipment history for that tracking number. TrackParcel's result calls that not found.

When the tracker answers with an error message, or the server returns an error page with no tracking data at all, TrackParcel says Transnet is unavailable instead. Transnet's own page shows such errors prefixed with Error, or says it could not connect to the tracking service.

Transnet calls just-in-time delivery its core specialty within automotive logistics, alongside inbound and production logistics, aftermarket and spare parts, and time-critical freight. It says it combines air, rail and road transport for these consignments.

As Importer of Record, Transnet says it uses its own legal entity and Importer Exporter Code to clear clients' consignments into India. It prepares the customs documentation, including bills of entry, and handles duties and GST.
