Getting started

TrackParcel for Business is a workspace for teams that send many parcels. You add your tracking numbers once, and we check them with the courier for you, flag the ones that need attention and alert your team. You keep your own courier accounts, rates and pickups: TrackParcel only needs the tracking numbers.

Sign up or sign in

Go to app.trackparcel.in/signup. The same screen works whether you are new or returning. There are no passwords: choose one of these.

• Continue with Google.
• Email me a code. We send a 6-digit code to your address, with a “Sign in” button you can use instead. The code works for 10 minutes. You can ask for a new one after 60 seconds, and 5 wrong tries lock a code, so you then need a new one.

If sign-up is by invitation when you read this, the sign-up page says so: use the address your invitation went to, or join the waitlist instead.

Set up your workspace

Setup takes about three minutes. Every step is saved as you go, so you can close the browser and carry on later, even on another device.

1. Welcome. Tell us your name.
2. Your business. Business name, workspace address (app.trackparcel.in/ followed by a short name for your business), your industry, roughly how many parcels you send a month, and the couriers you use. If you don't know the couriers yet, choose “Not sure yet”. This step creates the workspace, on the Free plan.
3. Your team. The Free plan has 1 seat, yours, so inviting teammates needs a paid plan: this step shows the plans that include seats. Skip it for now; once you have a paid plan, invite people and choose each one's role in Settings → Team. See Team and roles.
4. Your first shipments. Paste tracking numbers (up to 25 at a time on Free) or load 5 sample shipments to look around; on Starter and above you can also upload an Excel or CSV file (you can start from the Excel template there). Samples are pretend parcels with made-up numbers: they are marked “Sample”, never contact a courier and don't count towards your plan.
5. Alerts. Choose which problems we alert you about in the app. See Alerts.
6. Your plan. See what the Free plan includes, and how to buy a paid plan when you need more.

Only the business step is required. You can skip the team, shipments and alerts steps, and from the team step onwards “Finish later” takes you straight to your dashboard. The “Setup guide” there lists what is left.

Your plan: Free to start

Your workspace starts on the Free plan, with no card needed and no trial: 25 active shipments a month, 1 seat and in-app alerts, for as long as you like. Nothing is deleted when you reach the limit: shipments beyond the 25 wait until you buy a plan or your next monthly period starts. Each person can own one Free workspace; another workspace you create needs a paid plan.

When you need more, buy a paid plan: use “Email to buy” in Settings → Plan, then enter the activation code we send you there, and the plan starts at once. Compare plans on the pricing page.

The setup guide

A checklist sits at the top of your dashboard until the important steps are done. You can reopen it any time from Help → Setup guide.

Members and Viewers see a shorter list: review alerts, save a view, and add the app to your phone's home screen.

Joining a team instead

If someone invited you, open the invite link they shared with you and sign in with the email address they invited. Invitations last 7 days; if yours has expired, ask the person who invited you for a new link.

Workspaces

• A workspace is one business: its shipments, team, plan and settings. Every shipment belongs to exactly one workspace.
• You can belong to up to 10 workspaces and create up to 3. Each person can own one Free workspace; others need a paid plan.
• Switch between workspaces from the switcher at the top of the sidebar, which also shows each workspace's plan and your role.
• Every time in the app is shown in Indian Standard Time (IST).
