Cyprus Post Tracking. Free & Online.

Cyprus Post items are looked up by their 13-character UPU number, ending in CY when posted in Cyprus. Its tracker prints dates month first, read in Cyprus time, and its event names can carry an (Inb) or (Otb) tag. No login required.

The tracking tool is still loading. You can type or paste your number now; Track works once it has loaded.

Latest available carrier scans, sometimes from a temporary cache; not live GPS. Check event timestamps. Carrier availability varies.

TrackParcel is independent of Cyprus Post. For claims, redelivery or address changes use the official Cyprus Post website.

Where does CY appear in a Cyprus Post item number?

At the end: the number has two letters, nine digits and two letters, and items posted in Cyprus finish with CY. Auto-Detect suggests Cyprus Post for those. With another ending, select the carrier yourself; its tracker is still asked while the UPU shape is right.

Cyprus Post replies “No information, please check your item identifier”: what happens next?

TrackParcel reports the number as not found, because that is the reply for a number the system does not hold. A typing slip draws the same answer, so check all 13 characters again. On this tracker, older wording such as No item found ends the same way.

What do (Inb) and (Otb) mean after a Cyprus Post event?

They are part of Cyprus Post's own event names, and TrackParcel keeps them there. On the real item it read, acceptance and dispatch at the posting office carried (Otb), while arrival at the next office, the collection point and the delivery carried (Inb). The failed delivery and its forwarding carried neither.

What follows “Item not delivered/ Pending delivery” on Cyprus Post?

On the real Cyprus Post item, the next scans took it to a collection point for pick-up. The failed-delivery row carried a Measure note scheduling further action for the next working day, and Send items to delivery point was stamped in the same second.

How does TrackParcel order Cyprus Post scans that share a second?

Newest at the top, in Cyprus Post's sequence. TrackParcel reverses the oldest-first list before sorting, so a same-second pair shows opposite to its printed order: on the real item, Item not delivered/ Pending delivery, printed first, sits below Send items to delivery point.

Cyprus Post Tracking – Complete Guide

Cyprus Post's public tracker is UPU's IPS Web Tracking on ips.cypruspost.gov.cy, whose item page TrackParcel reads. On the real item TrackParcel has read, five of the seven event names ended in (Inb) or (Otb), and those tags are kept exactly as printed.

That real item, posted and delivered within Cyprus, and the tracker's real reply for an unknown number are what TrackParcel's reading of this tracker rests on. The item's seven scans ran from acceptance at the posting office to a signed delivery, with one failed delivery in between.

Cyprus Post numbers and the CY ending

A Cyprus Post item number has two letters, nine digits and two letters, and items posted in Cyprus end in CY. For any number of that shape ending in CY, Auto-Detect lists Cyprus Post and India Post, and for most prefixes other couriers too. For another country's ending, choose Cyprus Post by hand.

Only a cleaned-up number in that shape is sent to ips.cypruspost.gov.cy. TrackParcel stops any other lookup for this post before it reaches the tracker.

How Cyprus Post's item page is read

IPS Web lists scans oldest first under Local Date and Time, Country, Location, Event Type, Mail Category, Next Office and Extra Information; TrackParcel shows them newest first, without names, addresses or phone numbers. Cyprus Post prints each stamp month first with a 12-hour clock and seconds, and TrackParcel drops the seconds.

An unknown number gets “No information, please check your item identifier”, and as the page prints no time zone, TrackParcel gives every timed scan the post's home zone, even one recorded abroad. For Cyprus Post that zone is Asia/Nicosia, and times are shown converted to IST, labelled IST. A Next Office entry becomes a Next office remark, and a Measure line from Extra Information is kept, while an empty Reason line is dropped.

When Cyprus Post has no information for a number

For a number sent to Cyprus Post, TrackParcel shows not found on the tracker's no-information reply. Unlike TrackParcel's other IPS Web posts, Cyprus Post's handling also counts older No item found wording, or an ITEM line with no scans beneath it, as not found.

Those two extra rules were kept from TrackParcel's original reader for this tracker, while the real reply on file uses the no-information wording. Because a mistyped number draws that same reply, recheck the 13 characters before contacting the post.

Taking a Cyprus Post item further

The tracker page carries only the item search, with no phone number, form or opening hours. On the real item, Send items to delivery point already named the collection office under Next Office, which TrackParcel shows as a Next office remark. Receive item at collection point for pick-up then named the waiting office in the Location column. Deliver item later came from that same office.

Cyprus Post FAQ

Are Cyprus Post Office and Cyprus Postal Services the same carrier on TrackParcel?

Yes. TrackParcel files the operator as Cyprus Post and lists Cyprus Post Office and Cyprus Postal Services as other names for it; all three lead to the IPS Web tracker on ips.cypruspost.gov.cy.

Could TrackParcel misread a Cyprus Post date such as 6/5?

Not as a rule. The real item page printed dates month first, so TrackParcel reads 6/5 as 5 June. Only a date on the same page with a first part above 12 would switch that page to a day-first reading.

Can I see who signed for a Cyprus Post delivery on TrackParcel?

No, the result shows Signed for instead. The real delivery row named its signatory in Extra Information; TrackParcel replaces that and drops receiver, address, phone and ID lines and signature pop-up links.
