Internet Express is a South African online courier that books parcels within South Africa and abroad. TrackParcel reads its Shiplogic tracking portal, which hides internal statuses and per-parcel rows from public visitors. No login required.

Tracking Number Format
Pattern: Tracking reference of letters and digits; 6 to 30 characters are sent to the portal
Format example
ABCDE123
Illustrative format, not a live shipment.
TrackParcel has confirmed that Internet Express's tracker answers lookups, but has not yet checked a delivered shipment end to end. The status wording below comes from the carrier's own published statuses.
Your shipment's tracking reference, in letters and digits like the portal's own example, ABCDE123. TrackParcel strips spaces, slashes and most dashes and underscores, then sends the portal six to thirty letters and digits; a few shapes, a BT- prefix for one, keep their separator. Choose Internet Express from the list yourself, because Auto-Detect leaves it out.
The portal gives this reply when nothing, neither a shipment nor a parcel, sits under the reference sent. TrackParcel reports it as not found, as it does an empty shipment list, which the portal page words as Waybill not found. Ask the sender to confirm it, or check whether yours is a service provider's number.
The portal shows public visitors no internal steps, such as on-hold or rejected ones, and no per-parcel rows, and TrackParcel hides the same. When the shipment's own status is an internal one, the headline falls back to the newest public step, or to Collected or Submitted when no public step is left.
TrackParcel drops an event message using signer or recipient words, such as signed, received by or delivered to. It also drops one holding an email address or phone-like digits. Any other message shows as the remark if it differs from the step's own label.
Each stamp keeps its own zone, so a time ending in Z is read as UTC and one with an offset keeps it. A stamp with no zone is read as South African time. Timed events then appear in IST, labelled IST; a date-only stamp shows just the date.
Internet Express says it was born in 1998 as an online courier whose website quotes, takes payment and generates a waybill automatically. Its terms name Internet Express (Pty) Ltd and keep the freedom to use sub-contractors or third parties.
Its FAQ says it passes on a tracking number once its service provider supplies one, and links to that provider's track and trace. This page reads Internet Express's own Shiplogic portal, not a provider's tracker.
Internet Express says its site generates a waybill automatically from the booking details, and its contact page asks for the waybill number on any question about an existing shipment. That waybill also fits the main website's Track Waybill form, while the portal TrackParcel reads asks for a tracking reference; its search box only capitalises what is typed.
Spaces, slashes, a pasted label and most dashes and underscores are cut out first. The portal gets the reference only if six to thirty letters and digits remain, plus any dash kept by a few shapes such as a BT- prefix. Anything else reaching this check is answered not found without a request; a custom reference holding a dash or slash usually goes without it. Auto-Detect never offers Internet Express, since its references follow no fixed published format.
TrackParcel reads the tracking that Internet Express's portal shows a public visitor: the shipment status, the collection and delivery hubs, and each public event's label, place, time and message. Internet Express's main website keeps a separate Track Waybill form, which TrackParcel does not read.
Internal statuses and per-parcel rows stay hidden, as they do on the page. Collection and delivery names, addresses, contacts, special instructions and pickup point fields are never read. Stamps keep their own zone, and those without one are read as South African time.
For a reference it sends, TrackParcel reports not found when the portal answers “could not find shipment or parcel with reference” or returns an empty shipment list. The platform's maintenance mode or a server fault shows as unavailable instead, and any other 404 as a failed lookup.
If a reference you trust is not found, check whether you were given a service provider's tracking number, which that provider's own tracker covers. Then contact Internet Express support with the waybill number.
Internet Express calls a regional area any South African town or city not catered for by a daily flight schedule, and says all regional areas have a delay in delivery time because most are not serviced daily. Collections booked after 14h00 for major areas, or after 12h00 for regional ones, happen the following working day, adding a working day's delay.
Its contact page sends questions about a booking, collection or delivery to the customer support team on WhatsApp, phone or email, and lists branch contacts in nine cities, Johannesburg and Cape Town among them. Hard-copy proofs of delivery are free and are requested by contacting its offices.

TrackParcel's reading of a found Internet Express shipment is not yet proven against a live parcel, so these are the labels of the portal's page script.
Internet Express offers a Freight Guard Warranty against loss or damage while goods are in its possession and control, for R10.00 per R 2,500.00 of cover or R 20.00 for R 5,000.00. Its terms otherwise limit its liability to the lesser of R100 and the actual loss or value.
Yes, at extra cost: a collection booked online or by phone on a Friday for Saturday delivery carries a Saturday surcharge, and public holiday collections or deliveries attract one too. Internet Express asks to be told about any Saturday, after-hours or public holiday need in advance.
Internet Express says all non-documents shipped to Lesotho, Botswana, Swaziland and Namibia need a commercial invoice and a CCA1, a formal customs document available from most stationers. Non-documents cost more than documents and normally take longer, because of customs procedures.
