What Mauritius Post code does TrackParcel accept?
A 13-character item code ending in MU: two letters, then nine digits, then MU, like the example inside the Track & Trace box. Spaces, hyphens and a pasted AWB: label are dropped first. Any other code that reaches the lookup, an order number included, comes back as not found and Mauritius Post is never asked.
What does “No tracking information available for this item” mean?
Mauritius Post's results section has nothing for that code, and TrackParcel lists the item as not found. A results section left completely blank is different: TrackParcel then calls the tracker unavailable, because a blank section is not the carrier's unknown-number reply.
Why does Delivery Notification Generated not count as delivered?
It records that a delivery notice was generated, not a hand-over. TrackParcel keeps the sentence and the item stays on the way; only a delivery scan such as Delivered Through Counter, when it is the latest scan, sets the status to Delivered and fills in that scan's date and time.
Why do Mauritius Post scan times look 90 minutes later on TrackParcel?
Each 24-hour scan time has no zone on the page, so TrackParcel reads it as Mauritius time. That clock runs four hours ahead of UTC all year, and TrackParcel converts it to India Standard Time with an IST label; India is an hour and a half further ahead, so the time shown is 90 minutes later than the one printed.
Mauritius Post Tracking – Complete Guide
Mauritius Post Ltd (MPL) says it primarily provides postal and financial services, plus value-added services, to the public of Mauritius, and its about page extends that to Rodrigues and Agalega. Its Track & Trace page invites tracking or order numbers, with an Add another Item button, and its help text covers local and international, registered and express items.
TrackParcel takes the results section of that page for a single item per lookup. MU item codes are the only ones it sends, so an order number has to be searched on Mauritius Post's own page.

Inside the Track & Trace box, Mauritius Post's example is two letters, nine digits and then MU, and only that pattern ever reaches its tracker from TrackParcel. Spaces, hyphens and a pasted AWB: label are removed first, and lower-case letters are fine. TrackParcel runs no check-digit test, since Mauritius Post has answered items whose ninth digit fails the S10 check.
Auto-Detect lists India Post ahead of Mauritius Post for an MU code. Order numbers, which the carrier's page also takes, are turned away as not found without any request, so search those on Mauritius Post's own page.
Scans, post offices and Mauritius time on Track & Trace
From the results section, TrackParcel takes the origin and destination post offices for its From and To lines, then one row per scan: date, 24-hour time, post office and the scan text, such as Received From Bag. Scans arrive oldest first; TrackParcel turns the list round and keeps two scans from one minute in Mauritius Post's order.
With no zone in the stamps, every time is read as Mauritius time and shown in IST with the IST label, the Delivered on line included. Days in Transit and Estimated delivery by are left unread, and an office name that looks like an email address, a long run of digits or a link is dropped.
When Track & Trace has no tracking information for the item
When Mauritius Post holds nothing for a code, its results section contains just “No tracking information available for this item”, and TrackParcel marks the item not found. A blank section or an outage page makes the tracker count as unavailable, and a result for some other code is treated as a fault, not a missing item.

Should I collect a Mauritius Post item after a notification card?
Yes: its help text says to visit your local post office to collect the package. In the real delivered history behind the integration, Delivery Notification Generated and then Delivered Through Counter were both logged at the delivery office.
Does Mauritius Post deliver packets to the home?
Yes, depending on the packet's size and weight, its help text says, and it advises a letterbox the postman can reach easily. In one real history, Given To Delivery Agent followed Received From Bag at the office, and TrackParcel left that scan in Mauritius Post's words.
Why does TrackParcel leave out Days in Transit?
Neither Days in Transit nor Estimated delivery by is read. In one real reply the estimate merely repeated the delivery date, and in another it sat blank next to Invalid date, so TrackParcel shows only the scans, offices and dates.
