Track Daylight Transport freight with its PRO number, typically 9 digits. TrackParcel shows Daylight's own uppercase scan wording, such as DOCKED AT ORIGIN, and notes the next terminal when a scan names one. No login required.
The tracking tool is still loading. You can type or paste your number now; Track works once it has loaded.
Latest available carrier scans, sometimes from a temporary cache; not live GPS. Check event timestamps. Carrier availability varies.
TrackParcel is independent of Daylight Transport. For claims, redelivery or address changes use the official Daylight Transport website.

Tracking Number Format
Pattern: A Daylight PRO number, typically 9 digits
Format example
175319753
Illustrative format, not a live shipment.
Enter the PRO number, which is typically 9 digits; TrackParcel sends every number to Daylight as a PRO. Auto-Detect tries this carrier first or second for nine-digit numbers beginning 17. For other nine-digit numbers Daylight appears at most under Also try, after other couriers miss, so pick it from the list.
If you picked Daylight yourself, the result shows the summary's own miss message or “No Daylight Transport tracking data found for” and the PRO. For a PRO it sends, that verdict comes only from the shipment summary. An Auto-Detect search that misses at several couriers ends with one message for the whole search. A refused request or a server error is shown as the carrier being unavailable.
No. The freight has been handed to a partner carrier for the last leg. TrackParcel does not count that scan as a delivery: the result reads Delivered only once the shipment status or the newest scan reads as delivered. ARRIVED AT INTERCHANGE marks the same handover.
The consignee must book a delivery appointment before the freight is delivered. Contact the destination terminal or the shipper to arrange it. Freight waiting for an appointment does not move on to out for delivery. TrackParcel lists that scan with its recorded date, time and location.
TrackParcel adds it when a history row names the terminal the freight is going to next. It is a note under that scan, not a separate event, and the estimated arrival at that terminal is not shown. A PRO with no scans yet still shows its shipment summary.
Daylight Transport, LLC calls itself a major national LTL carrier and dates its start to 1977. It says it was first with direct loading and two-driver teams, and that each shipment is loaded direct to its destination instead of passing through hub-and-spoke transfers.
This guide covers the PRO lookup TrackParcel makes against the public MyDaylight tracking. Other tools on the site, such as the Daily Shipment Status (Manifest) Report, are not read.
The carrier's website tracks by PRO #, and its search box hands the number to the MyDaylight tracker. TrackParcel asks the same tracker for the shipment summary and then its history, always treating your entry as the PRO. A bill of lading or purchase order number is therefore looked up as if it were a PRO, so ask the shipper for the PRO instead.
The search box for an ordinary number sends the letters and digits left, up to 50, with no shape check. When a nine-digit number begins 17, Auto-Detect tries Daylight first or second. Any other nine-digit number gets Daylight at most as an Also try suggestion once the couriers tried have missed, so pick Daylight Transport from the courier list.
TrackParcel reads the public shipment summary and history. The result shows the carrier's status, the shipper and consignee cities as From and To, the total weight of the items, and the delivery date and time once delivered, or the pickup date before that. Each dated history row becomes a scan with its date, time, location and wording, newest first.
Scans follow the freight rather than a parcel: FREIGHT BILL ENTERED, PICKED UP, DOCKED AT ORIGIN, then repeated ENROUTE TO DESTINATION events as the trailer passes through terminals. Times keep the recorded clock, with no zone and no conversion to IST. A PRO with neither scans nor a status shows Booked.
A miss is decided by the shipment summary alone. When you chose Daylight yourself, a summary reply without a shipment puts its own message on the result, and a not-found status code or a reply with no message gives “No Daylight Transport tracking data found for” and the PRO. If Auto-Detect tries several couriers and all miss, one message covers the whole search instead. A refused request, a server error or an unreadable history is reported as the carrier being unavailable.
Daylight hands some freight to a partner carrier for final delivery. ARRIVED AT INTERCHANGE and DELIVERY TO CONNECTING LINE mark that handover, and the later scans may show the partner's terminal code. Daylight tracking can continue to show the out-for-delivery and delivered events, but the partner terminal now handles scheduling at the destination.
Its claims overview says the shipper, consignee or owner of the goods may file within nine months of delivery, and that it prefers its customers to file against it, after which it files against the responsible party. The site lists Claims Inquiry and Online Claims Submissions pages; have the PRO number and the original invoice ready.

The claims overview says to contact the carrier immediately and request an inspection, keeping the shipping container and contents as they were when the damage was found. The carrier sends a representative or waives the inspection. The inspection report is not a claim, so the claim must still be filed in time.
No. The claims overview says freight charges may not be postponed because of alleged loss or damage and should be paid in full, with the share for the lost or damaged item included in the claim. A valid claim is not paid until the freight charges are paid.
Yes. Its offshore services page offers expedited door-to-door service to Hawaii sailing from Long Beach, California, and to Alaska from Auburn, Washington, and expedited service to Puerto Rico from Jacksonville, Florida. Such freight is traced here with its PRO like any other.
Its standard LTL page says that if you are shorthanded, it can fill out BOLs, handle quoting and set up pickups. The BOL is still not the number to track here, since TrackParcel sends every number to Daylight as a PRO.
