DPD China describes itself as supporting businesses, partners and overseas customers with cross-border solutions from China, coordinating pickup, customs clearance, international transport and last-mile delivery. Its about page says the Lenton Group represents the DPD brand in Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore, as a relatively new addition to the DPD family; the same page presents DPD as DPD by Geopost.

This page covers shipments on DPD China's own tracker. DPD UK parcels, which TrackParcel tracks on DPD UK's own tracker, have their own page.

The contact form on DPD China's site asks for a tracking number beside the inquiry type, which can be Parcel Tracking. TrackParcel's carrier list gives the shipment number as 14 digits, and Auto-Detect leaves this carrier to a manual pick.

Before the lookup, a pasted label like AWB: is cut away along with spaces, hyphens, dots and slashes. No DPD China length or pattern check follows, so whatever letters and digits are left, no more than 50, go to DPD China's tracking service in capitals. One shape keeps its hyphen: a run of 10 to 14 digits, then a hyphen and five more digits, which is how TrackParcel looks up DPD UK.

Of the shipments the tracking service returns for a number, TrackParcel uses the first one that is not flagged as not found and carries events. Every event row gives a date and time, a status, a place and any description, sorted newest first. It reads each date year first; a row carrying only a time borrows the date of the nearest dated row above it, or of the first dated row when none comes before it.

The route's from and to places fill Origin and Destination, and a customer reference, when the service returns one, is kept as the reference. With no zone attached, each clock appears unconverted and without an IST label. Delivered is shown only when the status line and the newest event, read together, describe a completed delivery.

The carrier's tracking page is a script-driven app, so no fixed no-record wording from it is on record. Once a number reaches DPD China's tracking service, any of these makes TrackParcel report not found: a reply with no result, a shipment flagged as not found, no usable events, or a no-record error written in English or Chinese.

Other error messages from the service make TrackParcel report the carrier as unavailable, while a too-many-requests message is treated as a temporary limit. Should DPD China's own tracker draw a blank as well, have the sender confirm the shipment number they passed on.

DPD China's services page names four lines: ezEurope, ezSouthAfrica, ezKAZ and ezAustralia / ezNewZealand. For Europe it lists customs clearance through several European gateways and coverage through the Geopost network, with home, out-of-home, business and FBA delivery options. In Kazakhstan the last mile runs on DPD Kazakhstan's delivery network.

The pages do not say whether the delivering company issues a new number. If the sender passes on a number from the delivering company, track it there.

DPD China's contact page has a form whose inquiry types include Parcel Tracking and Customer Service Request, with a field for the tracking number and a required detailed description. Have the shipment number ready. The site also links a Hub-ez login, which TrackParcel never uses.
