DPD UK, which says it aims to be the greenest delivery company, runs Follow My Parcel. Type its parcel number plus the five-digit code after the star in its link, or the lookup ends as not found. No login required.
The tracking tool is still loading. You can type or paste your number now; Track works once it has loaded.
Latest available carrier scans, sometimes from a temporary cache; not live GPS. Check event timestamps. Carrier availability varies.
TrackParcel is independent of DPD UK. For claims, redelivery or address changes use the official DPD UK website.

Tracking Number Format
Pattern: Parcel number, a hyphen, then the five-digit code after the star in the DPD link
Format example
13579135791357-24680
Illustrative format, not a live shipment.
After the star in DPD's tracking link, whose address ends with the parcel number, a star and the five digits. It is DPD's own code, not your postcode, which in the UK is alphanumeric. Type the parcel number, a hyphen and the code.
No, that first event means only that the sender has created the label. Its full wording adds that DPD has not yet received your parcel. After collection, DPD reports the parcel on its way to the depot, then at the depot, then “Your parcel will be with you today” on the delivery day.
Not yet: DPD shows it on the delivery day, after the depot scans. TrackParcel marks a DPD UK parcel delivered only when DPD's current summary or its newest event reports a delivery, and it then takes the delivery time from the delivery scan where there is one.
A “will now be delivered on” event means the delivery date was changed, often by a recipient request through DPD. TrackParcel judges DPD's summary and its newest event separately, so this future-tense wording never marks the parcel delivered or fills in a delivery date.
No: TrackParcel only reads the parcel record and its event list from Follow My Parcel. DPD's innovation site describes a launchpad there where you tap to manage the delivery, and delivery options that give you control of how the parcel is delivered, so make changes through DPD's own tracking link.
DPD (UK) is the delivery company behind Follow My Parcel. Its innovation site, which also presents the DPD app and new collection options, tells you to expect the tracker's new version on all parcel notifications. This page reads that tracker with the parcel number and five-digit code together.
DPD UK tracking starts before DPD has the parcel. The sender can appear as the event location on the first scan, as Amazon does for Amazon shipments. Numbers for DPD China and DPD Portugal go to those companies' own trackers and have separate TrackParcel pages.
A DPD UK lookup needs two parts: the parcel number, then the five-digit code that follows the star in DPD's tracking link. The search box keeps the separator for 10 to 14 digits followed by a hyphen, underscore or star and five digits, turning it into a hyphen. Any other parcel number reaches the check without its code and is reported as not found without asking DPD, or, if joined by a star, refused as invalid. Auto-Detect offers DPD UK alone for the hyphenated shape.
TrackParcel sends the parcel number and code with a star between them, then reads the parcel's details and its event list. Driver profiles and delivery options stay on Follow My Parcel.
Events keep their text, location and any remark, newest first; those without a readable date or text are dropped. The status line is DPD's current summary, unless a return, delivery or out-for-delivery scan appears in it or in the newest event. No zone comes with DPD's times, so they are shown as given, without an IST label.
TrackParcel reports a DPD UK number as not found when DPD has no parcel for the number and code, returns no parcel details, or lists no readable events. A number without its code gets the same answer before DPD is asked, with a message asking for the code.
Compare both parts with the tracking link first. If they match and nothing appears, ask the sender to confirm the parcel number, as the sender creates the label that DPD's first event refers to.
DPD's Contact Hub lists three routes: in-app chat, where a chatbot can help you make changes to a delivery; chat with online advisors, who it says can handle all of your queries; and a phone line. Keep DPD's tracking link to hand, since its address holds both the parcel number and the five-digit code.

DPD UK's own status wording, what it means, and the badge TrackParcel's result shows for it.
No. DPD's innovation site describes PIN code delivery: you receive a unique four-digit PIN and quote it to the driver, who then releases the parcel. TrackParcel's lookup never uses that PIN; it needs the link's five-digit code, which sits after the star, typed after the parcel number.
On Follow My Parcel, yes: DPD's innovation site describes a rate your delivery feature that also lets you rate the driver and leave a compliment. Its driver profiles show the driver's ratings, feedback, a bit about them and even a favourite tune. TrackParcel's result carries none of this.
DPD's Collections page says collection updates come by SMS and email, and you see a one-hour collection timeslot on the morning of collection. You can follow the driver's progress on a map, and pick options such as Collect from Safe Place or Collect from Neighbour if you will be out.
Each of those pages reads a different tracker: DPD China's own, and DPD Portugal's for 14-digit parcel numbers. A number carrying the five-digit code from a DPD UK tracking link belongs on this page instead.
