TrackParcel has confirmed that GOFO France's tracker answers lookups, but has not yet checked a delivered shipment end to end. The status wording below comes from the carrier's own published statuses.
The shipper or web shop normally supplies it, GOFO's French FAQ says. It typically begins CIFR or GFFR plus 13 or 14 digits, and turns up in the email confirming the order or the dispatch notice. If none arrived, the FAQ says to ask the sending merchant.
GOFO's French FAQ points first to the number itself: check how it was typed. It must start CIFR or GFFR and continue with "13 ou 14 chiffres, sans aucun caractère spécial". If GOFO still calls it invalid, ask the merchant who shipped it, the FAQ says.
GOFO's English FAQ for France calls this stage "Out for Delivery", step three of the French tracking page's progress bar. TrackParcel shows Out for Delivery once the newest scan contains "En cours de livraison" or "Out for delivery", unless GOFO already reports delivery or return.
The parcel goes back to GOFO's warehouse for 14 days, after up to three attempts, the French FAQ says. During that time you can contact GOFO to arrange delivery again; if GOFO hears nothing in that time, the sender gets the parcel back.
The French site's legal notice names GOFO FRANCE, a société par actions simplifiée on the Pontoise trade register whose siège social is in Marly-la-Ville. Final delivery is made by delivery partners that GOFO's French pages call PSL and its English pages call DSPs.
This page follows parcels on GOFO's French tracker by GFFR or CIFR number. Each GOFO country runs its own tracker, and GOFO's European tracking pages send a single number with another European or US GOFO prefix straight to that site's page instead of searching it.
Sellers usually hand the GFFR or CIFR number on when they confirm the order or send word of dispatch. GOFO's French results table puts a record's two numbers under "Numéro de Bordereau" and "Numéro de Suivi".
For both prefixes, Auto-Detect ranks GOFO France at the top. Pick GOFO France for a GFIT or CIIT number, though, and TrackParcel returns not found without querying GOFO France; its message says GOFO routes those numbers to its Italy tracker.
Each scan brings its description and time, plus GOFO's detail line unless it merely repeats the description, and a place name only if it contains no digits and stays within 80 characters. A date that GOFO France sends in figures only, not starting with the year, is read day first, then month. TrackParcel never reads GOFO's delivery photos, the encrypted proof-of-delivery data and its one-time-code check, or the recipient's name, street and phone.
TrackParcel reads a clock lacking a UTC offset as Paris time, then shows each timed scan in IST, labelled IST, so a 14:00 Paris scan in January reads 06:30 pm IST. So far TrackParcel has not read a real French GOFO parcel; these fields come from GOFO's own page script.
GOFO's French tracker never answers with a not-found error. A real reply saved for a number it did not know says "Opération réussie", success, above an empty list, and TrackParcel counts that as not found. GOFO's own French page puts such a number on its list of "Numéro(s) de suivi invalide(s)". If tracking on a known parcel stays frozen beyond five working days within France or the EU, the French FAQ's instruction is to contact GOFO.
On GOFO's Expédiez avec Nous page, the standard French offer collects parcels from the seller's own warehouse or receives them at GOFO's sorting centre, with three delivery attempts included free. Parcels go up to 30 kg and 100 cm in length, with length plus width plus height capped at 150 cm. GOFO says the service reaches 80% of the population of metropolitan France.
The French customer service page gives an email address and a recipients' helpline for delivery problems and parcel tracking, open 9:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday except public holidays. Its guide to busy hours recommends email at peak times.
GOFO handles rearranging delivery while a parcel is held at its warehouse, and investigates a parcel marked "livré" that never arrived. The FAQ says photos of your entrance help that investigation but are optional.

Not at present. GOFO France's FAQ rules out both redirecting a parcel to a point de retrait and rescheduling the delivery date. An address change is possible through a form GOFO sends by email, until the driver has the parcel.
No. GOFO France has no return service for now, so arrange returns with the seller, the FAQ says; the sender also handles claims for a lost parcel, missing items or damage inside intact packaging.
If it came from outside the EU, the French FAQ says it may arrive before customs clearance is finished and before it is booked into the warehouse, so its status may not change in that period.
