Tracking Number Format
Pattern: Two letters, nine digits and two letters; items posted in Jordan end in JO
Format example
RR975318642JO
Illustrative format, not a live shipment.
TrackParcel has confirmed that Jordan Post's tracker answers lookups, but has not yet checked a delivered shipment end to end. The status wording below comes from the carrier's own published statuses.
Only UPU item numbers: 13 characters made of two letters, nine digits and two letters. One posted in Jordan finishes with JO, and Auto-Detect then suggests Jordan Post. With any other ending, pick Jordan Post manually from the courier list. Your pasted text is tidied by the search box first, dropping spaces, dots, slashes and labels like AWB:, and a number still outside that shape is refused without the tracker being contacted.
It means the tracker has nothing filed under the number you typed, so TrackParcel reports not found. A single mistyped character earns that identical reply, so go through all 13 characters, digits as well as letters, against the number you hold before deciding the item is lost.
Because TrackParcel checks the tracker's security certificate, issued to jordanpost.com.jo, and never skips that check. If the certificate lapses or the numeric address cannot be reached, a lookup sent to the tracker is reported as unavailable until the post puts it right, unless a saved earlier answer for that number can be shown. That message concerns the connection to the tracker, not your item or its number.
Separately for each page, since TrackParcel has never seen a genuine item from this tracker. Any day or month value above 12 fixes the order, while rows that contradict one another stop the lookup with an error instead of a guess. Failing both, TrackParcel chooses whichever reading keeps the scans in page order across the shorter span.
Jordan Post's public item tracker runs UPU's IPS Web Tracking and is reached at a numeric address rather than a website name, with a security certificate issued to jordanpost.com.jo. TrackParcel connects only while that certificate is valid, so if it lapses, a lookup sent to the tracker fails as unavailable unless a saved earlier answer for that number can be shown.
Only items in that tracker are covered here. TrackParcel has yet to read a genuine item from it, so its handling rests on one captured answer, given by the tracker when asked about an unknown number, and on code checked against pages of the same software.
TrackParcel asks this tracker only about a 13-character UPU number: two letters, nine digits and two letters. Items posted in Jordan end in JO, and a JO ending puts Jordan Post on Auto-Detect's list of suggestions.
The JO ending names the post where an item was accepted, so an item sent to Jordan from abroad carries its origin country's letters instead. Such numbers never bring Jordan Post up in Auto-Detect, yet picking it by hand still works, because the tracker is asked about any number in the UPU shape.
Nothing on the tracker itself names the post: its search page carries the generic title IPS Web Tracking/Item Tracking and an English Item Id form, and the page it returns for a number is titled IPS Web Tracking/Item Events. Its tie to Jordan Post is the security certificate, issued to jordanpost.com.jo, on the numeric address TrackParcel reads. With no zone printed on the page, each timed scan is read as Asia/Amman, Jordan's zone, then shown converted to IST with an IST label; a scan dated without a clock keeps only its date.
Of all the replies to a number it sends, only the tracker's no-information message makes TrackParcel report not found; that is the wording returned for an unknown number. Other phrasing like No item found, or an ITEM heading with no scan rows beneath it, is put down to an outage at the tracker, not to an absent item.
A refused connection or a lapsed jordanpost.com.jo certificate is likewise reported as unavailable. Neither tells you anything about whether the number is right.
The tracker page lists no phone number, contact form or opening hours, and the only other name it carries is jordanpost.com.jo, on its certificate. TrackParcel has no other Jordan Post address on record either: the official website this page links to is that same tracker page.

Jordan Post's own status wording, what it means, and the badge TrackParcel's result shows for it.
Only the delivery event is shown: no real Jordan Post item is on record with TrackParcel yet, and the tracker page explains none of its event names. The card describes that IPS Web event name the way TrackParcel's code treats it.
Yes. TrackParcel lists the one-word spelling as another name for the same carrier, so typing JordanPost in the courier search finds Jordan Post. Both names lead to one IPS Web tracker, reached at a numeric address rather than a website name.
Amman time. The tracker prints no zone with its stamps, so TrackParcel treats every timed scan as Asia/Amman time, including one recorded by an office abroad, and displays it converted to IST with an IST label. A delivered result converts the Deliver item row's time the same way, so the delivery date shown can be a day later than the tracker's.
No, TrackParcel never switches off the certificate check for this tracker. If the connection fails, the lookup is reported as unavailable until the post restores the tracker, and such a failure says nothing about the number itself.
