Pigeon Express, whose office is in Guindy, Chennai, calls itself a professionally managed, enterprising and upcoming courier service provider. Its About page places the business under the banner of Balaji On Board Couriers and lists regional branch contacts in cities from Ahmedabad to Vizag.

The site, pigeonexpress.in, is served over plain HTTP, without TLS. This page covers the Track Your Shipment box on that site; the Booking and Billing logins in the site's menu play no part in it.

The tracking page shows one box with the placeholder Enter AWB Number, and pressing Enter or TRACK sends whatever it holds. Its VIEW POD button reads the same box, and when the box is empty it pops up an alert asking for an invoice number.

Pigeon Express publishes no length or prefix, so the limit of 1 to 15 digits is TrackParcel's own, not a carrier rule. Before the lookup, TrackParcel strips spaces, dashes, dots, slashes, # and a pasted label such as AWB:. Only then is the number sent, if 1 to 15 digits remain; a letter or a sixteenth digit gets a not-found answer without Pigeon Express being asked.

TrackParcel reads the tracker behind the carrier's tracking box, which answers over plain HTTP. Of each scan row it keeps the three fields Pigeon Express's own page draws: the transit date, the status and the destination point, which becomes the scan's place.

No real shipment reply has been seen, so the date format and the row order are unconfirmed. TrackParcel accepts dates written day-first or year-first and puts rows newest first, while the carrier's page lists them in the order received. TrackParcel takes each timed stamp as India time and labels it IST; a stamp holding only a date shows that date on its own.

Because nothing on that link is encrypted, TrackParcel stops reading any reply larger than 1 MB. It also takes scans only from a reply whose own status flag, where there is one, says success.

For an AWB with nothing behind it, the tracker returns a run of blank lines followed by failed, code 202 and updated failed. TrackParcel treats that exact answer, or an empty scan list, as not found, and the carrier's page script prints a No tracking details found message.

Other failure wording or codes are treated as a fault rather than a missing AWB. A blank reply or an HTML error page shows Pigeon Express as unavailable, and the server's stock page for a missing address counts as an error.

The services page describes road freight with door delivery to Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, and domestic air cargo through a network of air freight agents. Its international express service carries documents and parcels, and the page says it gives proof of delivery. Imports of personal effects and excess baggage from Dubai, international moves and export clearance are also listed.

The Contact Us page lists the Guindy office address, a phone number and three email addresses. It gives an official work time covering Monday to Sunday, while every page shows opening hours of Mon-Sat, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Have the AWB number ready, since the proof of delivery and the shipment details appear only on Pigeon Express's own page.
