Zimbabwe Post Tracking. Free & Online.

According to its About page, the company is incorporated as a public body under the Posts and Telecommunications Act of 2000 and licensed by POTRAZ. Its FAQ says tracking is available for registered mail, EMS and parcel services, through the Track and Trace system on zimpost.co.zw.

TrackParcel queries the tracker behind the Track overlay on zimpost.co.zw. Left out here are PostTransfer money transfers, agency banking and vehicle licensing, which the FAQ lists among Zimpost's other services.

The Track box on the site shows a placeholder in the UPU item layout, two letters, nine digits and two letters ending in ZW. Its examples add an item number from another country's post and a code of ZP followed by six letters or digits, and the site only trims the input and capitalises it.

In TrackParcel's search box, a pasted AWB: label, spaces and hyphens are stripped before anything else, and only those three shapes go on to Zimbabwe Post. Auto-Detect offers it for numbers ending in ZW, below India Post, or at the top of the list when the number begins with X. For a ZP code or a number issued abroad, select Zimbabwe Post yourself.

When the tracker knows an item, its overlay script reads a status code with a description, the origin and destination, a weight and the item's steps. Every step carries a type, description, location, date and time, and TrackParcel shows all but the type, which only feeds its delivery check.

Times without their own offset are read as Zimbabwe time, which stays at UTC+2 all year, and are displayed in IST with that label. Dates are taken day first; one that fits neither reading, a yearless date for instance, stays as Zimpost's own text. Sender, recipient, address, phone and signature fields are never read.

Once a number has gone to Zimpost, that reply, or an item record holding no steps, is what produces not found. Its other refusal, Tracking number is required, is logged as a fault instead, and so are a maintenance page and a record for a different number.

If a registered item, EMS item or parcel still shows nothing, Zimpost's FAQ asks you to give its customer service team the tracking number. Its terms add that tracking information is given for convenience and may lag behind the item.

A Zimpost notice says customs duties on international mail to the United States and selected EU member states must be calculated and prepaid before dispatch. The declaration lodged at the counter, with a full description, value, quantity and country of origin, sets those duties, which are separate from postage. It warns that an incomplete declaration can bring delays, extra charges or rejection at destination.

The contact page offers phone lines, an email desk, WhatsApp chat and a message form whose subjects include Package Tracking and Complaints, with hours on weekdays from 08:00 to 16:00 and on Saturday mornings. Its terms set claim deadlines of 30 days after posting for a domestic item and 60 days for an international one.
