TrackParcel has confirmed that DPD Portugal's tracker answers lookups, but has not yet checked a delivered shipment end to end. The status wording below comes from the carrier's own published statuses.
The page asks for the parcel reference number and states no length; TrackParcel sends DPD Portugal only a 14-digit DPD parcel number. Its help link, Where do I find the parcel reference number?, leads to DPD's own help pages. Labels may print the digits in groups; TrackParcel joins them, and anything that is not then 14 digits is turned away without DPD Portugal being asked.
It is the reply DPD Portugal's tracker gave an invented number, with that number printed straight after the words. TrackParcel reads it as not found and invents no status. The same reply suggests searching again, or going to DPD Portugal's customer support or contact pages.
Wording that TrackParcel's rules read as a completed delivery, such as entregue or entrega efetuada. A description that also signals a failed attempt, a return to the sender or a hand-over to a pickup point or depot stays as written. No delivered reply had been seen when the rules were written, so the progress icons never decide it.
TrackParcel drops a location that holds a digit, because a digit can mean a house number or a postcode. It keeps that column only as plain text, never the map link behind it, and never shows the Comentário column, which can hold a pickup-point or depot code that may identify the sender.
No, because TrackParcel keeps DPD UK's five-digit code on the number. The search box leaves a code written after a dash, underscore or star at the end of 10 to 14 digits, the shape it tracks with DPD UK. With DPD Portugal chosen, that is not 14 digits, so it is turned away without DPD Portugal being asked.
DPD Portugal's Track & Trace page runs on tracking.dpd.pt in Portuguese, English and French, under the line Your delivery experts. Beside the search box it offers Maria, a chatbot for where-is-my-parcel questions, and myDPD, which it says means you will never miss a delivery attempt again.
TrackParcel reads the Portuguese version of that page, the language its integration parses. DPD UK and DPD China have their own TrackParcel pages, whose lookups go to those companies' own trackers instead.
DPD Portugal's tracker box asks you to insert the parcel reference number, and TrackParcel's lookup sends it exactly 14 digits. Under the box, the question Where do I find the parcel reference number? links to DPD's help pages.
TrackParcel's search box first removes a pasted label such as AWB:, brackets around the number, and spaces, hyphens, dots or slashes between digit groups. If 14 digits are left they go to the tracker, and any other result is turned away before a request is made. Auto-Detect leaves DPD Portugal out of its 14-digit guesses, so pick it yourself in the courier list.
A found parcel opens with Nº de encomenda and the number, a current status line with its date, and a strip of five progress icons. The details table, headed Código, Data, Hora, Descrição, Comentário and Localização, is folded under Ver os detalhes de entrega. TrackParcel takes the current line as the status, unless it reads as delivered or out for delivery, and sorts the scans newest first by their own stamps.
Each stamp gives the date day first with its year, and a time in hours and minutes, but no zone. TrackParcel reads the times as Lisbon time and shows them converted to IST, labelled IST, so a late-evening scan can move to the next day's date. The Delivered on line is converted the same way.
An unknown number gets a page that prints Não encontrámos resultados para and the number, then suggests searching again, customer support or contacting DPD. For a number TrackParcel sends to DPD Portugal, only that reply becomes not found.
A blank result block or a page whose layout has changed never reads as not found, while a maintenance notice or a refused or failing server shows as DPD Portugal being unavailable. When the 14 digits match the label and the reply stays the same, ask the sender who booked the parcel to check the number.
Beyond the scan history, DPD Portugal's Track & Trace page points to two DPD tools: myDPD, which it says means you will never miss a delivery attempt again, and Maria, the where-is-my-parcel chatbot. Both Get to know more links lead to DPD's dpd.com site rather than staying on the tracker.

The card below explains what it means when a lookup finds no record.
DPD Portugal's Track & Trace pages give no list or explanation of their status wording, and no delivered reply has been seen, so this section has no cards. TrackParcel shows each Portuguese description as written unless its rules read it as a delivery or as out for delivery.
No. The search box deletes the comma between two numbers, so two 14-digit parcel numbers pasted together become one 28-digit run, which the lookup turns away before any request is made. Enter each parcel number on its own.
No. Each row of the details table starts with a Código value, but TrackParcel keeps only the Data, Hora, Descrição and Localização cells. The description is the line to read, and it appears in DPD Portugal's own Portuguese capitals.
No. TrackParcel's DPD China page reads DPD China's own tracker, and that lookup never asks DPD Portugal. Choose the DPD page that matches the company that issued your number, because Auto-Detect tries neither DPD page for a bare 14-digit number.
TrackParcel skips a row that has no date or no description and keeps the rest of the history. Only when no row at all can be read does it report the page as changed, rather than as a parcel that does not exist.
