Illustrative format, not a live shipment.
It is the step Latvian Post records when an item reaches an office of exchange, the sorting office that handles post crossing the border. On the item checked it came four days after Item posted / received from customer, was recorded at a Riga letter sorting office, and was filed under the tracker's Shipment in transit stage.
The tracker gives each step a date with the year and a time of day, but no time zone. TrackParcel reads these times as Latvian time (Europe/Riga, UTC+2 in winter and UTC+3 in summer) and shows them converted to India Standard Time, marked IST.
No delivered Latvian Post item was available to check. The tracker sorts every step into five stages: Shipment created, Received from sender, Shipment in transit, Released for delivery and Delivered to recipient. TrackParcel marks an item Delivered when its newest step clearly reports a delivery, or sits in that last stage with no non-delivery reason and without reading as a failed attempt, a wait at the post office or a return. A Non delivery reason or Action line the tracker adds to a step is shown under that step.
It is the tracker's reply when it holds no record of the number entered. Check that every letter and digit is right; TrackParcel only sends numbers made of two letters, nine digits and two letters to the tracker. For shipments outside Latvia, the tracker's own page points to a separate international tracking service.
Latvian Post (Latvijas Pasts, whose sites now carry the brand Pasts) is Latvia's national postal operator, and its public tracker is at mans.pasts.lv. Enter the item number in the international postal format of two letters, nine digits and two letters; the tracker's own example ends in LV. Each step shows the event wording, such as Item posted / received from customer or Item arrived at office of exchange, the post office or sorting office that recorded it, and a date with the year and a time. No time zone is printed, so TrackParcel reads the times as Latvian time (Europe/Riga). The reply No information received on the tracking of the postal item means the tracker holds no record of that number.
Latvian Post tracking begins with the reference printed on the shipment label, booking receipt, or dispatch message. The registered format guidance for this integration is Two letters, nine digits and two letters (the UPU international format); the tracker's own example ends in LV; CP246813579LV is an illustrative example rather than an active parcel. Enter the reference exactly as issued, including letters, leading zeroes, spaces, or punctuation when they form part of the number.
TrackParcel sends the lookup to the public tracking transport associated with Latvian Post and normalises the response into a readable timeline. When the carrier supplies them, the result can include the current shipment state, event timestamps, processing locations, and carrier remarks. The carrier creates and controls those scans; TrackParcel cannot add a missing event or promise when the next scan will appear. A recent successful response may be returned from a short-lived cache to reduce repeat requests.
Latvian Post is a postal operator, so an international item can also receive scans from partner posts after export or before final delivery. Postal references often follow the UPU S10 pattern, but domestic products may use another format. Preserve every letter and leading zero when searching.
If Latvian Post returns no shipment, first compare the reference with the original message and remove accidental surrounding spaces. A newly created label may not be searchable until the first physical scan. Delays between events can also occur while a shipment moves between facilities, crosses a border, clears customs, or waits for a partner-carrier handoff. Try again later, then use the official Latvian Post tracking page linked below when the shipment is urgent or the result remains unavailable.
Guide updated:
Latvian Post may word these differently. The event text in your result is the carrier's own.
Enter your Latvian Post tracking number in the search box above. TrackParcel requests the current status and available events from the carrier's tracking system.
A format illustration for Latvian Post is CP246813579LV. Registered format guidance is Two letters, nine digits and two letters (the UPU international format); the tracker's own example ends in LV. The exact format can vary by shipment service, so use the value printed on the receipt or shipping confirmation.
Carriers only add scans when a parcel is processed at a facility. A newly booked parcel or a shipment moving between hubs can show no new event for a while.
