Tracking Number Format
Pattern: Two letters, nine digits and two letters; the real item read ended in XZ
Format example
RA123456789XZ
Illustrative format, not a live shipment.
Enter the item number: two letters, nine digits and two letters. The registered item behind TrackParcel's integration began RA and ended XZ, and Kosovo Post says every registered (R) letter gets a unique tracking number. Do not use the 13-digit barcode the results print under it.
It means Kosovo Post has nothing on file under that number. Instead of a message, its tracker returns the results table with only the headings Numri / Barkodi, Lokacioni / Data and Statusi and no rows, which TrackParcel treats as not found. Make sure you typed the item number with its letters, not the barcode, before asking the sender.
Because the results grid TrackParcel reads gives each Statusi text in Albanian, and TrackParcel keeps that wording in the event list. In the real reply it read, the item was first logged as Dërguar në ZP KOSOVA (QTP / PN) at the PRISHTINA 6 office, then as Objekti u fut në thes për dërgim në France at KOSOVA (QTP / PN). The status line changes only when the newest event reads as a delivery, such as dorëzuar, or as out for delivery.
When its newest event contains dorëzuar or dorzuar, the word Kosovo Post's own tracking form colours green. TrackParcel holds back where the same text says not or not yet delivered, names the sender, or mentions a return (kthyer, kthim), customs (doganë) or QTP. TrackParcel has not yet seen a delivered Kosovo Post item, so the rule copies the form's.
Arsyeja is the grid's field for a non-delivery reason, and TrackParcel prints it under that event. A reason containing an at sign or a run of five digits is dropped, in case free text carries contact details. The customs pre-number field, Numri paraprak, and the barcode are never read at all.
Kosovo Post describes itself as a public enterprise wholly owned by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and overseen by the Ministry of Economy, with a network of 166 post offices. Its English site puts a Track Your Item box on the home page, and the answer opens in a Tracking Results window. This page follows items in that box; the post's bill payments, Vala SIM top-ups and PO Box contracts are separate services it also sells.
Kosovo Post's home page says each registered letter, its R service, carries a unique tracking number and is handed over only against a signature. The registered item TrackParcel was built on had two letters, nine digits and XZ, and the results grid printed a 13-digit barcode beneath it. That barcode is not the number to enter, because searching it brought back an empty table.
Before anything is sent, TrackParcel's search box removes spaces, dashes, dots, slashes and similar marks from what you paste. Kosovo Post is only ever sent two letters, nine digits and two letters; TrackParcel turns anything else down itself without contacting the post. Auto-Detect suggests Posta e Kosovës when the number ends in XZ, so for any other ending choose it by hand.
TrackParcel reads the same results grid that Kosovo Post's Track Your Item box opens. Each row gives the item number, the office or centre that logged it, such as PRISHTINA 6, a date with an hours-and-minutes time, the Statusi text and, when set, an Arsyeja reason. The post's grid lists rows oldest first, TrackParcel flips them so the newest comes first, and rows carrying another number are left out.
No zone is printed beside the stamps. TrackParcel takes them as Kosovo time, using the Europe/Belgrade zone, then converts each to India time and marks it IST, so an evening scan in Kosovo can land on the next calendar day.
Kosovo Post writes no not-found message; an unknown number brings back the table headings and nothing under them. For a number the post was actually asked about, that bare table is the only reply TrackParcel calls not found. If the form answers with a maintenance page or its own error reply, the result says the tracker is unavailable, and a table in an unexpected layout is reported as an error.
The barcode gets the same empty table, so check that you entered the item number. If it is right and the table is still bare, ask the sender to confirm it before going to Customer Care.
Kosovo Post lists registered mail, international e-commerce delivery for online sellers, and Domestic Express for documents needing Apostille certification by Kosovo institutions. Its PO Box service stores mail for the box holder or a person they authorise, at €2.50 a month or €22.00 a year.
Kosovo Post sends questions, complaints and requests to its Customer Care Department, and the contact page gives its opening hours as 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday. Claims about a registered letter, which the post delivers only to the authorised recipient against a signature, go to Customer Care rather than to TrackParcel. Have the 13-character item number ready, not the barcode.

Posta e Kosovës's own status wording, what it means, and the badge TrackParcel's result shows for it.
Yes. Posta e Kosovës is the Albanian name and Kosovo Post the English one its own site uses; the site also has Albanian and Serbian versions. The post's history page says it was registered as a joint-stock company and now operates as an entity separate from PTK.
Kosovo Post says a registered letter is delivered only to the authorised recipient, against a signature that serves as proof of delivery. Its PO Box service works the same way: mail kept there is open only to the box holder or a person they authorise.
TrackParcel's code treats QTP as the post's exchange centre: the real item's second event was logged at KOSOVA (QTP / PN), and a dorëzuar event mentioning QTP is not counted as a delivery. Kosovo Post's history page mentions an international office of exchange in Prishtina but does not spell out QTP.
