Tracking Number Format
Pattern: MailAmericas tracking number from the seller's shipping message
Format example
MLAR012345678EX
Illustrative format, not a live shipment.
TrackParcel has confirmed that MailAmericas's tracker answers lookups, but has not yet checked a delivered shipment end to end. The status wording below comes from the carrier's own published statuses.
Customs in the destination country has stopped the parcel for a check, a tax payment or missing recipient details. In several Latin American countries the buyer has to complete a declaration or pay import tax before release. Follow the instructions from the local post or customs office, and ask the seller if nothing arrives.
The parcel has been held before leaving the origin country, usually because of a problem with its contents, documents or address data. It will not move until the seller resolves it, so contact the seller.
A local carrier in your country, typically the national postal service or a contracted courier. After handover, a missed delivery or a collection notice is handled by that local carrier.
The seller has created the label but the parcel has not been registered in the network yet, or the number was mistyped. Cross-border sellers often send the number a few days before the first event appears.
MailAmericas is a cross-border logistics company that carries ecommerce parcels into Latin America, mainly from sellers in China, the United States and Europe to buyers in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Colombia. It handles the international transport and customs clearance and hands the parcel to a postal service or courier in the destination country. Its tracker shows the origin, the destination and a history grouped into stages, and every event has a status, a description, a date and the place or office that recorded it. The tracker also flags three special situations: a parcel retained at origin, a customs intervention in the destination country, and a cancelled shipment. Once delivered, it shows a proof-of-delivery block with the date and time.
MailAmericas tracking begins with the reference printed on the shipment label, booking receipt, or dispatch message. The registered format guidance for this integration is MailAmericas tracking number from the seller's shipping message; MLAR012345678EX is an illustrative example rather than an active parcel. Enter the reference exactly as issued, including letters, leading zeroes, spaces, or punctuation when they form part of the number.
TrackParcel sends the lookup to the public tracking transport associated with MailAmericas and normalises the response into a readable timeline. When the carrier supplies them, the result can include the current shipment state, event timestamps, processing locations, and carrier remarks. The carrier creates and controls those scans; TrackParcel cannot add a missing event or promise when the next scan will appear. A recent successful response may be returned from a short-lived cache to reduce repeat requests.
MailAmericas uses its own shipment references and scan process. The safest source is the dispatch confirmation, label, or receipt issued for that shipment. Similar-looking numeric references can belong to other couriers, so selecting MailAmericas explicitly avoids an ambiguous format match.
If MailAmericas returns no shipment, first compare the reference with the original message and remove accidental surrounding spaces. A newly created label may not be searchable until the first physical scan. Delays between events can also occur while a shipment moves between facilities, crosses a border, clears customs, or waits for a partner-carrier handoff. Try again later, then use the official MailAmericas tracking page linked below when the shipment is urgent or the result remains unavailable.
Guide updated:
MailAmericas may word these differently. The event text in your result is the carrier's own.
Enter your MailAmericas tracking number in the search box above. TrackParcel requests the current status and available events from the carrier's tracking system.
A sample MailAmericas reference is MLAR012345678EX. Registered format guidance is MailAmericas tracking number from the seller's shipping message. The exact format can vary by shipment service, so use the value printed on the receipt or shipping confirmation.
Carriers only add scans when a parcel is processed at a facility. A newly booked parcel or a shipment moving between hubs can show no new event for a while.
