About BTX Global Logistics.

TrackParcel has confirmed that BTX Global Logistics's tracker answers lookups, but has not yet checked a delivered shipment end to end. The status wording below comes from the carrier's own published statuses.

Which BTX number goes into the tracking box?

The airbill number. The carrier's own tracking form shows an example of three letters followed by seven digits, and Auto-Detect suggests BTX for that shape, next to other carriers such as Vagex. Paste the number on its own: a typed label such as Airbill: is not removed and would be sent with it.

Why does a freshly booked BTX airbill show no tracking data?

New shipments take an average of 30 minutes to appear on the website, the forwarder says. Its tracking FAQ gives two further reasons for an empty result: an input error or a number that has changed, and a shipment older than 12 months, which it archives. Allow that half hour before treating a new airbill as lost.

Can I search by my own BTX reference number here?

Not as a reference search: TrackParcel enters every number it sends to BTX as an airbill number. BTX's tracking FAQ describes a Track by Reference Number option on its own site and defines a shipper's reference as up to 35 letters and numbers, such as a purchase order or sales order number. Use that option for a reference.

How does TrackParcel read a row of BTX's tracking history?

As a date, an optional separate time, the status, the location and any further cells as remarks. A year-first date is read with a 24-hour clock, while a month-first one may also carry AM or PM. A row with no readable date is left out, and the rest are listed newest first.

What makes TrackParcel show a BTX shipment as delivered?

A status line or newest history row that reads as a completed delivery. The result then reads Delivered and takes the newest row's date and time as the delivery moment. Until then it shows the carrier's own status text, or the newest row's status when the page has no separate status line, and the delivery date stays empty.

BTX Global Logistics Tracking – Complete Guide

BTX describes itself as having grown from a single terminal in Connecticut into a freight forwarder with regional offices across North America. Its service menu covers domestic air freight and ground services, global air and sea freight, customs brokerage, and warehousing. Its tracking FAQ says online tracking covers air, ocean and brokerage shipments.

TrackParcel looks at nothing beyond the open tracking result, one airbill at a time, and never signs in to MyBTX, the customer portal with customised tracking. For three letters and seven digits, Auto-Detect offers Vagex and Velocity Express as well as BTX, so choose BTX yourself when the airbill came from it.

Finding the BTX airbill number

BTX's FAQ says you can track by air waybill from the top of any page of its site, and additional preprinted airbills are ordered from Customer Service. The example in its tracking form is three letters followed by seven digits. Auto-Detect offers BTX for that shape; for an airbill of any other shape, pick BTX by hand.

A purchase order, sales order or job number you assigned is a shipper's reference, not the airbill. TrackParcel has no shape check of its own here. The search box removes spaces and separators such as hyphens, dots, commas, slashes and colons; what is left, if it is up to 50 letters and digits, is posted as one airbill, so two numbers separated by a comma become one string.

What TrackParcel takes from BTX's tracking page

TrackParcel posts the number to the tracking form that sits at the top of the forwarder's website and reads the page it returns. From the history table it keeps each row's date, time, status, location and remarks; a separate status line, when the page has one, becomes the shipment status.

It also picks up labelled origin, destination, weight and estimated delivery fields. Without an origin label it uses the oldest row's location; without a destination label, the destination stays empty until delivery, when the newest row's location fills it. TrackParcel attaches no time zone to the rows, so their times are shown unconverted, with no zone label. It always leaves the reference field empty.

When BTX cannot locate the airbill

For a number it has sent, TrackParcel reports not found when the page says the forwarder cannot locate a shipment, even on a missing-page error, or when it holds neither a history row nor a status line. A real shipment whose remark mentions not found is still shown. Refusals, server errors and a missing-page error without that sentence appear as BTX being temporarily unavailable.

If an airbill keeps failing, compare it with the paperwork, then get in touch. The FAQ points logged-in MyBTX users to their local office and everyone else to the National Customer Service Center.

Proof of delivery, rerouting and claims with BTX

The tracking FAQ says a proof of delivery can be requested by email or obtained from the forwarder's own online tracking; TrackParcel shows no proof-of-delivery document. Rerouting before the first delivery attempt needs ample time, is not offered in every country and goes through your Customer Service Representative. Loss and damage claims are made in writing, so keep the airbill number to hand.

  • Vagex tracking: Vagex waybills are also three letters and seven digits, so Auto-Detect offers Vagex beside BTX for one number.

What BTX Global Logistics tracking statuses mean

The card below explains what it means when a lookup finds no record.

No record found
No record for the number: TrackParcel reports not found when the forwarder's page says it cannot locate a shipment or shows neither history nor status.

None of the BTX pages cited here publishes any of its tracking status wording, and no saved BTX reply with real shipment events is on file, so this page shows no status cards.

BTX Global Logistics FAQ

Who can file a BTX loss or damage claim, and by when?

The sender, the recipient or a third party. A claim has to reach BTX within nine months and nine days of the day it accepted the shipment. Concealed loss or damage found after delivery must be reported no later than two business days after delivery, keeping the cartons, packing and contents as they were found.

Can BTX track several airbills in one go?

On the forwarder's own site, yes: its tracking FAQ says you can track up to five shipments at one time, and MyBTX offers customised tracking. TrackParcel looks up one airbill per search. Numbers separated by commas are joined into one string, so search each airbill separately.

How does BTX work out dimensional weight?

It divides a shipment's volume in cubic inches by 194 for domestic or 166 for international shipments, which can differ from the actual weight. TrackParcel shows the tracking page's weight field, when present, as printed. The general FAQ also says there are no weight or size restrictions.
