First Flight Couriers (Middle East) L.L.C describes itself as a significant player in express courier services in the UAE, headquartered in Dubai. Its about page says its UAE operations began in Abu Dhabi, and its milestones add branches in Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.

The milestones page also says the company was formed through a strategic alliance with First Flight Couriers in India. This page reads only the Middle East tracker on First Flight's own site, not any Indian First Flight system.

First Flight's tracker offers Track By Airway Bill Number, Reference Number or Booking Number. Its own box takes up to 10 airway bill or reference numbers at once, but only one booking number.

A pasted AWB: label, spaces, hyphens and commas are stripped before the lookup, so a comma cannot separate two numbers here: both would merge into one long number. J plus six digits then goes to the booking search and any other entry of 5 to 25 letters or digits to the airway bill search, which means a booking number in some other shape is looked up as an airway bill. Auto-Detect offers First Flight, then Gokulam, for J plus six digits; for an airway bill, pick First Flight by hand.

TrackParcel makes the same lookup as First Flight's tracking page. From and To carry First Flight's origin and destination, each written as a city and a country, followed by every scan's date, time, place and wording, newest first as First Flight lists them. First Flight writes each date out with its weekday, day, month and year.

For a delivered row, First Flight's page shows Delivered to with the receiver. TrackParcel keeps only Delivered, or Returned for a return, and never reads the receiver's name, the shipper reference or the weight.

An unknown number comes back from First Flight's tracker as an entry with no history, origin or destination. The page then reports that this tracking number is not found and asks you to “check again later or contact the sender”. For a number it sends there, TrackParcel reports not found on that reply.

If First Flight answers with a maintenance page or refuses the request, the result says First Flight is unavailable rather than that the parcel is missing. TrackParcel never sends First Flight fewer than five or more than 25 letters and digits.

First Flight's terms ask for claims for loss, damage or delay in writing, at the latest seven days after the delivery or expected delivery date, with the airway bill number, proof of value and any photos. It provides a digital proof of delivery on request. Its Contact Us page opens on a Complaints And Suggestions form, and the site also has a Helpdesk.
