Georgian Post presents itself as Georgia's postal operator for universal postal services and a member of the UPU and PostEurop. Its history says LLC Georgian Post was set up as a fully state-owned enterprise, and the company incorporates Georgian International Express Mail (EMS).

This page covers the shipment tracking box on gpost.ge, which TrackParcel reads directly. Maleo, linked from gpost.ge for shipments from the U.S., China, Turkey and Europe, has its own website and is not read here.

The item TrackParcel's integration was built on carried GPG and nine digits, and Auto-Detect suggests Georgian Post for that series and for no other courier. For two letters, nine digits and two letters ending GE, Auto-Detect offers Georgian Post too, behind India Post; with any other ending, choose Georgian Post yourself.

Before sending, TrackParcel removes a label like AWB: pasted with the number, the brackets around it and any spaces, dots or hyphens, and capitalises letters. gpost.ge then receives only a GPG number with exactly nine digits, or a two-letter, nine-digit, two-letter number. A string of up to 50 letters and digits in any other shape ends as not found with no request sent, two numbers pasted with a comma between them included.

TrackParcel requests the panel that the gpost.ge tracking box opens, in its English version, and keeps the Georgian wording if the site answers in Georgian regardless. Each step carries a date with the year, a time to the second, the step itself and a location made of the city and the post office code.

That panel shows no sender, recipient, address, phone or signature, and TrackParcel takes only the three step fields from it. Steps are listed newest first on gpost.ge and on TrackParcel alike. No zone is printed, so TrackParcel reads each time as Georgian time (UTC+4, with no daylight saving) and shows it converted to IST, labelled IST.

For a code it has no record of, gpost.ge prints “Tracking code is invalid or not found”, or the Georgian line კოდი არასწორია ან ვერ მოიძებნა. TrackParcel turns either one into a not-found result. A server outage or a refusal makes TrackParcel report Georgian Post as temporarily unavailable instead.

A panel that answers for a different number than the one asked for is refused rather than shown. If the code matches your receipt or notice and still finds nothing, ask the sender to confirm it before contacting Georgian Post.

The post's FAQ says that when its courier cannot deliver at your address, the item goes back to the service centre for that address, where you can pick it up. If you get a message about an item, the FAQ asks you to visit the service centre named in the notification or to phone the call centre.

gpost.ge offers item requests as digital services, among them Change Delivery Address, Parcel storage prolongation and Reclamation, which asks you to sign in first. The Contact Us page lists a call centre open 09:30 to 18:30 on weekdays and 10:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays, plus Chat us and Write us links. Have the GPG or international number ready.
