Balíkovna's company profile gives Česká pošta, s. p., a state-owned enterprise whose founder is the Ministry of the Interior, as the company behind balikovna.cz. Its tracker's outlet labels include Balikovna, Balikovna at the Post Office and Balíkovna-box, and its boxes page adds AlzaBoxes, OX Point and Penguin Boxes for picking up and dropping off parcels. TrackParcel reads only Balíkovna's Trace package page here and keeps a separate page for Česká pošta items.

Balíkovna's Trace package page wants the tracking number, and its own warning spells out the rule: 13 characters, letters and numbers only. The example on that page is NB plus ten digits and a single closing letter. The pick-up code sent by text message is a different code and is not the tracking number.

Spaces, dashes, dots and slashes in a pasted number are dropped by TrackParcel's search box first. A Balíkovna lookup goes out only for a clean string of 13 letters and digits; anything else stops at TrackParcel without a request. Auto-Detect puts Balíkovna on its list, with other couriers, for the NB pattern; for other shapes, select it yourself.

TrackParcel reads the same parcel record that Balíkovna's Trace package page loads, and asks for it in English. Each step keeps its wording, its date and clock time, and the outlet's name with postcode where the record has them; steps without wording are skipped, as on the page. The record runs oldest first, and TrackParcel reverses that so the latest step leads.

Times in the record come without a zone; TrackParcel treats them as Prague time (Europe/Prague) and displays them in India time marked IST, while a date-only step keeps just its date. The pick-up code, sender, recipient, recipient e-mail and phone, payment link and outlet address are never read.

For a number it does not know, the tracker returns one step reading “There is no record for a consignment with this posting number.” TrackParcel recognises it by the record's own not-found code and reports not found. Balíkovna's page explains that the parcel may not be in its system yet, so check back later and confirm each character.

A record with no steps at all, which the page shows as SOMETHING WENT WRONG, counts as Balíkovna being unavailable, not as a missing parcel. When a later attempt still turns up nothing, check the number with the sender or with the shop that arranged delivery.

The boxes page says you order delivery to a box, receive a text message with the pick-up code and enter it on the screen. When the outlet you chose cannot accept a parcel, the tracker says it was stored at the closest possible alternative location and shows the original outlet location too. After a failed delivery attempt at an address, it reports that the parcel was taken to the nearest suitable pick-up location.

The Trace package page offers its own Resend a pickup code link, and the site footer lists a contact form, a customer line and a guide titled How to Handle Complaints? for claims. For a parcel returned unclaimed with cash on delivery, the page says the amount paid is refunded and confirmed by e-mail. Quote the 13-character parcel number in any message.
