Illustrative format, not a live shipment.
TrackParcel has confirmed that Bangladesh Post's tracker answers lookups, but has not yet checked a delivered shipment end to end. The status wording below comes from the carrier's own published statuses.
Thirteen: two letters, nine digits and two more letters, and the DMS search box stops taking input after 13 characters. The ninth digit is a UPU S10 check digit. TrackParcel tests that digit first, so an ID whose check digit does not add up is reported as not found without Bangladesh Post being asked.
It is the DMS tracker's reply for an item ID it holds no record of, and TrackParcel then shows the item as not found. Check the 13 characters again, letter by letter. For an item posted abroad, the Track and Trace menu on bdpost.gov.bd links two separate international trackers.
A branch logged Delivered to Customer, but further item scans followed it, so the delivery did not stand. TrackParcel then renames that row Delivery rolled back and notes that a rollback set the delivery attempt as unsuccessful. The status at the top always comes from the latest item scan, never from an earlier delivery row.
The tracker prints times with no zone, so TrackParcel reads them as Bangladesh time and shows them converted to IST, labelled IST. India runs half an hour behind Dhaka, so a scan logged at 00:20 in Dhaka appears at 11:50 pm on the day before.
The Bangladesh Post Office runs the DMS tracker TrackParcel reads, a page headed Domestic Mail Item Tracking with a search box that asks for an Item ID. Its government site at bdpost.gov.bd lists the page in the Track and Trace menu as অভ্যন্তরীণ মেইল ট্র্যাকিং.
The same menu links a separate tracker for local events of international items and a global tracking service. TrackParcel asks neither of them, only the DMS page.
The DMS page labels its box Enter Item ID and stops at 13 characters. TrackParcel sends Bangladesh Post only an ID of two letters, then nine digits, then two letters, which is the UPU S10 layout. Its ninth digit is a check digit worked out from the eight before it.
Before anything is sent, the search box removes a pasted AWB: label, enclosing brackets, spaces, hyphens and dots, and capitalises the letters. A cleaned ID of 13 letters and digits that breaks that layout, or whose check digit does not add up, is reported as not found without a lookup.
The tracker can hold more than one booking under the same item ID, and its page shows the last one as the current booking. TrackParcel reads only that booking, so scans from an older booking of the ID are left out. Each scan carries a date written day, month and year, a time, a branch and a status code that the page turns into words. The feed runs oldest first, and TrackParcel lists the scans newest first.
Branch-entered remarks are kept only in four places: the office an item was forwarded to, a branch's action after a failed delivery, a rollback reason or a bag note. TrackParcel drops any remark that could be contact details: an email-style at sign, a link or five or more digits. It never requests the booking address, the delivery images or the booking receipt the page links.
For an item ID with no record, the DMS tracker answers No information found for the ID, and TrackParcel reports the item as not found. It says the same, without contacting Bangladesh Post, when an ID of 13 letters and digits fails the layout or the check digit.
A maintenance page, a refused lookup or an answer in an unfamiliar form is reported as the tracker being unavailable or as a failed lookup, never as not found. If a correctly typed ID still finds nothing, ask the sender whether the item really went as domestic mail and whether the ID was copied in full.
Bangladesh Post's contact page, written in Bengali, gives its address as Dak Bhaban in Agargaon, Dhaka. Its first entry is আন্তর্জাতিক অনুসন্ধান কেন্দ্র, marked ট্র্যাকিং এন্ড ট্রেসিং, and it also lists the GPOs in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna and Rajshahi.
It also lists an office marked APSO at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and carries a feedback form that accepts an attachment. Give the full 13-character item ID in any message.

Bangladesh Post's own status wording, what it means, and the badge TrackParcel's result shows for it.
That is the operator's own name on the page heading, while TrackParcel lists the carrier as Bangladesh Post and also finds it under BD Post. Every name opens the same DMS lookup.
The tracker logs scans of the bag an item travels in as well as scans of the item itself. TrackParcel lists them in the timeline but takes the current status from the latest item scan, so a bag scan after a delivery leaves the item Delivered.
Not on TrackParcel. When one ID was booked more than once, the tracker returns every booking, and TrackParcel reads only the last, the one the page opens. The DMS page itself lists each older booking, folded away under its booking date.

Track shipments from India Post, Bluedart, Xpressbees, Ekart/Flipkart, Shadowfax and more from a single search bar.
Recent results use a short-lived cache for speed; uncached lookups fetch from the carrier and may take longer.
