Founded in 1976 and calling itself a parcel delivery specialist, Canpar Express is followed here through the full barcode: one letter and 20 or 21 digits. Its W delivery notice numbers belong to a separate search. No login required.
The tracking tool is still loading. You can type or paste your number now; Track works once it has loaded.
Latest available carrier scans, sometimes from a temporary cache; not live GPS. Check event timestamps. Carrier availability varies.
TrackParcel is independent of Canpar Express. For claims, redelivery or address changes use the official Canpar Express website.

TrackParcel has confirmed that Canpar Express's tracker answers lookups, but has not yet checked a delivered shipment end to end. The status wording below comes from the carrier's own published statuses.
One letter, never W, then 20 or 21 digits: the complete barcode. Before checking that shape, TrackParcel strips blanks, dashes, dots, slashes and a pasted AWB: label. A barcode outside it, a W delivery notice included, ends as not found and the carrier is never asked. Auto-Detect proposes Canpar Express solely for D plus 21 digits; for other letters or 20 digits, choose it from the list yourself.
That line heads the no-results block of the Track a Package page. A plea follows to verify your input or retry at a later date. TrackParcel treats a barcode as missing when the carrier answers with no package at all, or with one package lacking both a shipping date and scans, which the Track a Package page throws away as well.
In Canpar's words, the shipper has made a label and passed it the electronic information. While nothing else shows, the package has not reached its system, and fresh updates appear after pickup. Should the tracker return only the bare label-created code, without a description or scans, TrackParcel prints Label created on its own.
TrackParcel converts each timed scan to IST, labelled IST, which can push an evening scan onto the next date. The stamps carry local time without an offset, so the zone comes from the scan's province: Vancouver time for British Columbia, Toronto time for Ontario and Quebec. A scan naming no Canadian province is read as Toronto time too.
Canpar Express says TFI International bought it in 2002, making it a key member of TFI's package and courier segment. Its site describes SMARTSpots, partner locations across Canada for parcel pickup or drop off. Besides the barcode, its Track a Package page searches by Delivery Notice, Pickup Tag or Reference Number, and a reference search wants the shipper number or destination postal code as well. TrackParcel offers none of those searches and hands Canpar the barcode alone.
The Track a Package page has four searches: Tracking Number, Delivery Notice, Pickup Tag and Reference Number. TrackParcel runs only the first, with the full barcode of one letter and 20 or 21 digits. A shortened barcode needs a shipper number or postal code there, so TrackParcel does not take one.
Pickup tag, reference and delivery notice numbers are not the barcode, and the delivery options page says a delivery notice number starts with W. If an answer lists every piece of a shipment, TrackParcel keeps the piece whose barcode you entered.
The data TrackParcel reads is the same that fills the Track a Package page. Status descriptions come in English, falling back to the French text where the English is blank, and each scan keeps its event text with city and province, latest at the top. With no delivery, return or estimated date yet, the result's date row shows the earliest scan's date as First scan, or as Picked up when a pickup scan falls that day.
The carrier's numeric code 2 or 4, or matching words, turns the result into Delivered or Out for Delivery, and wording about a return turns it into Returned to Origin. Its summary carries a Signed For By line, yet TrackParcel never reads the signer, the consignee address, the reference or scan comments, nor fetches the proof-of-delivery file.
On Canpar's own page a barcode with no record brings up “No results available yet”, with a prompt to verify the entry or retry later. For TrackParcel the barcode is missing when the carrier sends back an empty package list, or one package that has neither a shipping date nor scans.
The “Shipper num required” error is handled the same way, matching how the carrier's page answers it. Every other error, and any maintenance or block page, makes TrackParcel report the carrier unavailable instead of the parcel missing. The integration records that Canpar has in the past refused TrackParcel's requests from outside North America.
The delivery options page says Canpar's tracking lets you sign electronically before delivery, ask for email or text notices of a delay or delivery, or send the parcel to a SMARTSpot instead before the driver tries. The support page also links a How to Read a Delivery Notice guide for the card a driver leaves. Have the full barcode, or the W notice number, ready.

Canpar Express's own status wording, what it means, and the badge TrackParcel's result shows for it.
Label created is the only tracker status wording Canpar's pages quote and explain; without a real Canpar reply carrying scans, TrackParcel cannot list any further wording.
Its driver leaves a delivery attempt notice, and the Track a Package page looks up that W number under Delivery Notice. When the parcel lands at a SMARTSpot, the carrier's tracking lists the pickup address and opening hours, details TrackParcel does not carry.
Yes, if they bring the form that the SMARTSpots page asks you to fill out for that purpose. Identification is required for parcel pickup, according to the tracking page, and the SMARTSpot Locator points to the nearest partner location.
Yes, until the journey ends. The date comes from the same record that fills the Estimated Delivery Date line on the carrier's summary, and TrackParcel removes it as soon as the parcel counts as delivered or returned.
