SMSA Express describes itself as a courier that has served businesses and individuals since 1994, with domestic and international express, road, sea and air freight, customs clearance and e-commerce services. The head office named on its contact page is in Riyadh, while the about page credits a dedicated customs clearance department with clearing incoming shipments.

This page follows SMSA shipments through the Track By Tracking Number page on the courier's tracking site. Rate quotes come from the rate calculator on SMSA's website, and account opening goes through the channels on its contact page.

To follow a shipment, the courier's FAQ suggests the tracking tool on its website or the SMSA Express App for Android and iOS, and the enquiry form on its contact page has a Tracking Number field. In TrackParcel's carrier list the AWB is shown as 12 digits.

Its Track And Trace page asks for several tracking numbers to be split by spaces or commas. TrackParcel cleans the input first: spaces, commas, most hyphens, dots and slashes go, as does a pasted prefix like AWB:, so two AWBs entered at once land as a single run of digits. Nothing then checks the shape for this courier, and Auto-Detect leaves SMSA Express out of the couriers it queries for a 12-digit entry, so select it in the carrier list yourself.

The AWB goes to the courier's Track By Tracking Number page, and TrackParcel takes each row of the results grid as one scan: its date and time, the activity, then the location. Dates are taken month first, then day and year, and a twelve-hour clock reading becomes 24-hour time with any seconds dropped.

No zone is attached to these clock readings, so the timeline prints them as they were logged, without conversion or an IST label. The latest scan sits at the top, and its activity becomes the headline status, replaced by Delivered when that row's unredacted wording reads as a delivery.

The Track And Trace Details page carries the line This tracking number is not found, and the same sentence advises trying again later or contacting the sender. Once an AWB has gone to SMSA, TrackParcel reports not found when the reply carries that wording, no-results, no data or failed to fetch tracking wording, even on an HTTP 404; a bare 404 means SMSA is unavailable.

It also reports not found whenever the reply holds no readable event rows. A not-found answer is therefore not proof that SMSA has no record, so check its own tracker first, and only then ask the sender whether the AWB is right.

SMSA's complaint policy says complaints can be made through any of the channels on its contact page, that it charges no fee for one, and that complaints are processed in five to seven working days unless further steps are needed. The contact page's enquiry form asks for your tracking number, so have the AWB ready.
