Follow a Yang Ming Marine Transport container by its box number, such as a YMLU or YMMU unit: TrackParcel reads the Cargo Tracking answer and lists each move with its terminal and, where given, the next port and vessel. No login required.

No, TrackParcel sends container numbers only. The carrier's own search also takes a B/L No. or Booking No., so use that page for those references. Here, type the four letters and seven digits of the box; for a number that reaches the Yang Ming lookup, any other shape is answered as not found before a request goes out.
Nothing is held under the number you typed, and TrackParcel shows the reply as not found. The same message blames a probable typing error and asks you to check the BL No., Booking No. or Container No. For any question, it points you to the local office for further checking.
In the saved reply, Empty to Shipper came first, then Received at Origin, then On Board, all at one Shanghai terminal. TrackParcel lists the newest move at the top. The On Board row also named the next port, the vessel and voyage, and the ETA at the discharge port.
Every move is printed on the facility's own clock, with no zone named. When the facility is a port on TrackParcel's built-in list, such as Shanghai or Rotterdam, that clock is read in the port's zone and converted, with the label IST. Elsewhere, an inland depot for example, the printed time stays as it is.
That date is the ETA printed with a move, On Board in the saved reply, written as ETA at a named port. TrackParcel shows that port as the destination, and its date as the expected delivery until a delivery is reported. Rows marked Estimated in the second table are forecasts and never become scans.
Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation keeps a Cargo Tracking page under the eBusiness menu of its website, and its search asks for a Container No., B/L No. or Booking No. TrackParcel uses only the first of those three. It sends one container number and reads the event table returned for that box.
B/L and booking searches come back in a different form that TrackParcel does not read, so those references stay on the carrier's own page. The status wording below comes from a saved real reply for a box shipped from Shanghai towards Rotterdam.
A container number here is a three-letter owner code, a category letter U, J or Z, a six-digit serial and one check digit. The line's own units start YMLU or YMMU, and for those two prefixes Auto-Detect suggests this carrier alone. For a box with any other owner code it is not suggested, so pick it from the list yourself.
Before sending, TrackParcel strips spaces and hyphens from the typed box number, plus any pasted prefix like AWB:. If a number that reaches the Yang Ming lookup still does not fit the container shape, including a B/L or booking reference shaped differently, it is answered as not found and never sent.
TrackParcel shows the default event table, newest move first. Each row keeps the carrier's event wording and the facility, for example a named Shanghai Yangshan terminal, and where given, its remarks carry the next port, the vessel and voyage and the discharge-port ETA.
If that table is empty, TrackParcel falls back to the DCSA-style table and keeps only its Actual rows. The customer booking reference and the vessel code are never read, and the answer has no shipper or consignee fields.
Clocks are facility local time with no zone. For ports on its built-in list, such as Busan, Shanghai or Rotterdam, TrackParcel reads that port's zone and shows the time in IST, labelled IST; other places keep the printed clock.
That sentence is the carrier's answer for a number it holds nothing under. The message goes on to suggest a typing error, asks you to check the BL No., Booking No. or Container No., and mentions the local office. TrackParcel shows this answer as not found.
A maintenance flag, a block flag or a web page in place of tracking data shows as unavailable instead. A container answer without one readable move is reported as an error rather than an unknown box.
The Local Office page of yangming.com, headed Office & Agent, is where the not-found message also sends you. That reply asks anyone with a question to contact the local office for further checking. Have the container number ready, plus the B/L or booking number if you hold one.

Yang Ming's own status wording, what it means, and the badge TrackParcel's result shows for it.
No. The container answer carries no shipper or consignee fields, and TrackParcel never reads the customer booking reference or vessel code that arrive with it. You see the box's moves, facilities, vessel and voyage, and the ETA.
Only when the current row's own wording reports a delivery. Gate-out moves and empty-box moves do not count, so a container whose latest row is Empty to Shipper stays on the way. Out-for-delivery wording shows as Out for Delivery.
